Then I realised that everyone around me was disregarding the rule, including one woman who placed her camera ON THE STAGE, at Prince's feet, so I thought, you know, sod it.

I'd still be a bit cautious about taking pics/filming. I took some and it wasn't until towards the end that one of the stewards was actually telling people to stop. A message goes up before the show, warning that you'll be ejected if you're caught taking pics though i doubt they'll do that to anyone whose paid some £250 for a VIP ticket.
