The four-hour gigs will have a string of support acts on the guitar-shaped stage, with AMY WINEHOUSE, PAUL McCARTNEY, JOSS STONE and BLACK EYED PEAS on his wish list.

He will then move to different venues around London, some of which will stay secret until the last minute.

But sources tell me Prince is hoping to include the Royal Albert Hall and The Forum plus the smaller Indigo Rooms venue inside the O2.
The singer planned a long stint at the O2 after his Vegas shows. He added: “I wanted to play a full dose of what I do. We’ve learnt 150 songs and they will be changed each night.”

i think all you people are a bit too stressed about all this.

i am positively sure the NPG will play. no way it is going to be just a DJ.. and ther is no need to analize the name of it. all afterparties on previouse tours where called/anounsed the same.
If all the people on the band at the moment are going to be on stage than its an amazing band to hear playing. its gonna be prince level of playing anyway. now, most chances that prince will go on stage too. you know the guy. you know how absorbed he is in his music. do you really think he will let the band play and not jump on stage for at least a few numbers ? there was a rumour he is going to reside in the O2 complex. this just makes it even more likely he will be around.
its been my dream to attend one of his after parties since a kid. got tickets for 28 and 31 of august. i count the minuest ...
man, if i got to play with him it would be more or less the end of all my wishes in life

plus prince is releasing a 7 cd sample set, plus all the full xenophobia shows, and all the download cds like chocolate invasion on pressed discs, rerecording his entire back catlogue, creating world peace and freeing his music

so it's going to be an eventful couple of months. i expect he will release a 80 cd set of new studio tracks recorded during his london stay, and give 1 disc away free each day with a different newspaper

Been keeping an eye for ages on the indigo2 site and didnt check up yesterday
Now realise they were released and the 1st August is sold out. Every other date available apart from the 1st! Typical of my luck.

Ticketmaster has put four Indigo2 shows on "Currently Not On Sale". The first three shows in August, and the last one on Sep 21.

Seeticket still offers tickets for every night except the first on Aug 01 where they say "Call Venue For Tickets".

Buying the aftershow tix was a lot easier than buying for the main shows, but i think its coz they werent advertised

The White Stripes tix @ the o2 were a nightmare to buy aswell. even in presale i ended up with crap tix for them.

Just got my tickets 4 the 17. of aug. So wild. Have seen his aftershows 2 times i Denmark and they were so different, and both exellent. Looks like I´m gonna see him again on my birthday 19. of aug.! Last time in 1998. So beautiful and I got to shake hands with his friend in withe Mr. Larry G.

For those of you waiting on your tickets through the mail either for the main shows or for the aftershows I received the following email from ticketmaster today:

I can confirm that all 6 of your bookings for the Prince shows will now be held
on box office collection. Your tickets will be available for collection from
the box office on day of the event, to be collected by the card holder.

To collect your tickets please take with you the reference number of the booking

I would like to request that you change the preferred option of ticket pick up

the webshite shut down a year ago, long before he contemplated the tour. seeing as everyone took presales for granted and slagged off eveything he did, it's no wonder he's declined the offer to do fan presales to show in retrospect how priviledged we were to get the best seats, let in early to soundchecks, and aftershow parties and concerts, whilst other artists charged a fortune for front row seats. also, i don't think he was impressed that it was the same people sitting in the same seats down the front every nite. this time it gives different people a chance to get close without having to wait in line outside all day

after this, he can come back with another club offering benefits, and showing what it's like with and without club benefits, so more people might sign up to avoid being treated the same as regular punters in the rush to buy tix
