O2 London: I just scored new gold circle seats for £31.21! WTF?

Thanks to a tip off from Udo that more tickets were on sale, I decided to give ticketmaster a try. What do I find, Row 3 seats in block 111 and 110!

Thats gold circle seats at £31.21!

So despite trying to cut down on the number nights I was going, I just added 3 more. Damn!

Get over there people. As of 17.05 on 29/6, they still have row 5 seats.

Shall I get more..... eek duh...must stop.....

I've just noticed that that block seems to be cropping up for a lot of the dates. It's not going to be restrictive view or something is it?
Maybe it was the block reserved for Sony UK execs? lol

Most nights, but not the first and last nights.

Well, I've just rebooked for 14th August.
Seat location: section BK 110, row C, seats 284-285

We were already going on the 14th, but had seats up in the Gods in Block 420 Row H, so we can give them to a couple of friends now and we can have the hopefully better seats.

Yipee! I feel better now I'm in a lower tier seat.

Thats in the gold circle seats, and I don't believe they can be restricted view, as there are no pillars in the O2 arena.

Result! biggrin

i think you are actually behind aa-hh so you are 11 rows back.(blocks 103-110 seems to have the additional aa-hh rows runnig on that one side) if you look at the seat numbers on the chart the gold circle ones start at 303.
hey they are still good seats and i'm contemplating on em too. but def not gold circle seats. smile

I just got seats in row E 110 for the 10th Aug. I tried on a few other dates and got decent seats in 110 too. tried for 6 on the 24th and got them (didn't buy them was just doing it to see if it was possible). It only seemed to be the odd night that had lower available.

Thats me up to 6 nights. 5 downstairs, 1 in the front row of the upper.

I wonder? hmmm I should be going to the O2 soon for an inspection visit. I think my attention will be more on checking my ticket views than my job lol
I still can't believe that (GOOD) new seats are STILL cropping up confused

Ticketmaster, I hate you neutral

Bugger. I'm now going to all 21 nights!!!!! Best still I'm in the front 15 rows of the lower tier for every night and I didn't buy a single VIP seat!

I'm offically mad. Mrs Squirrel is going to have a fit.

I think the AA-HH rows are only in block 106/107, as its a much deeper block. My guess for block 110 is row A is row one.

Could you sell the ones you've got and get some lower tier now?

I just got block 110 row H lower tier for the last night, a few moments ago! Couldnt resist! Pretty unfair though if you bought them at the start - like alot of people, who ended up in the upper tier. Sure we'll make the most of it!!!!

Cool! I am going on the 17th Aug, was only planning one trip, but just couldnt resist! I know there are other threads regarding accommodation, but I really want to be sure I am staying in the best location possible, Was looking at hotels in canary wharf, but is that awkward to get back to late at night?

The tube will be really busy when the concert's finished (if you were worrying about using the tube at night) so my advice would be to stay in the West End (loads of reasonably priced hotels there) and if you want, once you've returned to your hotel after the concert and left your tourbook in the room, you can go out again and enjoy the nightlife in the West End with only a short walk/taxi ride back to your hotel later.

Thanks for letting us know! Just got myself Block 103 row E for the final night. SeeTickets had a single seat for 20/09 in 107 row B so I snatched that the other day. A week ago I was only going to one (01/09 in 102 row L) and now I'm going to three! Most excited about the last night, it will be special. I've never seen Prince before so going to one show was a huge deal for me, so going to three is unbelievable. I'm going to keep checking back on ticketmaster for floor seats, because they could come back. I got front row for Kylie back in January on the day of the show, so anything is possible. So excited now! Thanks again for letting us know biggrin

Barring the opening night and some VIP tix there's lower tier tickets for every show and they seem ample at present. Ticketmaster's offering the max. allocation (six) for the closing night, lower tier neutral
Folks who haven't got tickets yet or are looking for better seats take full advantage. Fans who bust a gut trying to scoop up tickets on release can join me in a cry, if you want confused

I'm sounding like a broken record now but I'll got to say, I hope Ticketmaster get worms and diarrhea for Christmas mad

nod
I hate ticketmaster! Bunch of @ssholes! Looks like everyone who bought tickets on the release day, can now buy better seats today for the same shows. Its defies all logic.

Just had another thought - wasnt there a big fuss about the fact that he sold out all 15 concerts in record time? Doesnt look like they are sold out to me!
