Hubby and I went to Lake Tahoe last month to see Sammy Hagar at the Cabo Wabo and guess what.....we found out AFTER we got there that he canceled because of (uhhhmmm) laryngitis and had canceled these 3 shows after selling a portion of his tequila business for quite a few million. These shows were supposed to be intimate shows indoors w/ approx 500-600 people each night. NOW...it is rescheduled for Father's Day in an outdoor arena with 10,000 people and the tickets are $10 cheaper than what we paid.....if we were to go back! Talk about pissed off people! We are really very lucky with Prince, IMO. It may be last min a lot of the time... but at least there is no BS and he does show up. I would much rather make quick plans and KNOW what I am getting instead of paying $2300 for a trip to see the scenery in Tahoe! There wasn't even any snow to ski and too cold to water ski. I sure let those people know that "My Prince would NEVER do the BS that Sammy did." If Prince couldn't talk....at least HE could jam....and everyone would leave with a smile! Luv Ya'll | |

Ticket***** says there is a presale at 10 am Friday. http://www.ticketmaster.c...st/735895. I talked to someone I met from Macy's advertising department last night and he thought you could get tickets for the package online, not just at the perfume counter. It might be worth a phone call to Ticketmaster. I will miss this one (vacation with the family), but since I saw him twice in Vegas, it doesn't hurt so bad, and I don't have to go through the stress of getting the tickets (though as you can see, I am still following all the drama). I figure I can use the $250 I would have spent on the concert on vacation. | |

But these people will not be contacted unless there are ticket packages left by the end of business tomorrow. I have heard/seen nothing from official sources to indicate that the Macy's package can be purchased online. And I would guess that Macy's wants the traffic and business in their store, so I don't expect this to change. Course this IS Prince we are talking about here. | |

The Macy's package can only be purchased in person, in line, tomorrow, starting at 10am (unless they do not sell out, in which they will start calling back the phone orders people have placed). There is an online TicketMaster pre-sale for the Target Center show only at 10am for Target Center VIP and Timberwolves season ticket holders. |
