i'm happy for u,but did he really say"no"when you asked for a picture,because thats rude.he could've said it in a more polite way like"sorry,but i can't"not just "no".he could've atlast gave u a hug if he didn't want a pic,if i took a pic with him,i would not post it online or anythimg,and he just shook your hand and left? i didn't know he was really like that.I hate when u meet celebrities and u expect it to be your way but when u finally meet the person you love,things turn out different from what u expected.trust me i know.i hope if i meet prince he won't act like that. i thought that he would give fans a hug

He has a very unique smell that I just cannot describe, someone said he smelled like hair product but to me it smelled different, unfortunately I cannot describe it. But he left his smell on our hands just from his handshake. And Prince always looks good no matter what, he doesn't look as young as he does on TV but he still looks very good.

Wow that is so awesome!!! I would like to meet him some day. I don't feel comfortable hugging strangers so I don't fault him. How would some of these people feel if random folks wanted to come up and hugthem all the time...lol. I think it was nice of him to come over and talk to you and shake your hand. It nice to know that he is genuine and uses his fame to witness to people and is not just all talk. I know you were on cloud 9!! I am on cloud 9 after each concert and he has never even looked at me..lol

Hello, I was just in vegas this past weekend for the Feb 10 show on Saturday. We were able to get up front on at the stage and was by the Right large speaker. He came on about 12:00 midnight and finished about 2:00a.m I got a chance to touch his legs and boots when he came to our side on the speakers. He is extremely tiny guy and must be wear a size 0 or 2. He smelled great and the concert was off the chain. After the show, he performed at the 3121 jazz club next door and the first 60 folks got in free. We missed it because we were at the boutiqe store buying our prince stuff. I got 2 prince necklaces and my sister purchased the tamborine. Next time we go, we will make sure to get the VIP package in which you sit at the table for $350.00 but it was still great. I did not wash my right hand for a couple of days. We ended getting snowed into vegas because of the flight cancellation but it was ok. Make sure to go to the 3121 website to get your tickets and call ahead to get the VIP tickets if you wish.

Wow, I was on the left hand side of the stage up on the stairs, I wanted to give myself some height so I could see him better since I am so short. We were on the opposite ends of the room. And I never made it to the boutique since I wanted to see if I could get into the aftershow. Hard to believe a week has already gone by.

We left on Wed because our flight was cancelled on Tuesday and we stayed at the Rio. We really took some great pictures, so as soon as my sister sends them to me, i will post them to the site. She was trying to sneak and take pictures in the concert but we were right in front of the security guard. You see on the right side, where those folks were dancing on the VIP section. We were right there beside the speaker.

After the after party in Atlanta,my friend and I went out a back door of the club and Prince's bus was parked outside, so my friend and I waited. To make a long story short, I told Prince I loved him, and He said I love you back but It's more important to love God.

*If it were me*...I would have been turned off with the GOD talk. I mean you have 2 mins to talk to the man, can you talk about something other than god? Maybe thank your fans for supporting you? I dunno...with all the money I've spent and making him rich a "nice to meet you" and "thank you" would be nice! As far as saying no to a picture, I can't blame him. Society has made it this way with trying to make a buck off of anything. So many fan photos are sold to tabloids and it's ruined it for the real fans.

We arrived to a long line and talked our way in to be pleasantly suprised and excited to see a stage, but with no instruments. Many crowded around and waited, waited.., but no show. After dancing up a storm to a DJ playing mostly Prince, I wandered to the rear of the club and found a very dark VIP section. I ran back to get my friends and we reapproaced the raised VIP section where two seriously large bodyguards were now standing on guard. Trying to get his attention I literally yelled "Hey you". He didn't stop talking or move. Again, I yelled even louder "Yes you, you're the best..". Prince turned his head and looked at me. "..next to God", I said. Immediately he smiles gets up and walks over to us with his eyes wide open as his bodyguards lean in to protect him. He extends his hand out to me while squeezing in between the guards. Without saying a word, we shake hands, he smiles and walks back to his seat.

It was one of those strange moments when you talk to someone without saying another word. Thanks Prince -- Yes he's cool!

Funny, at the 02/09 Rio show I was second row center for most of the show. I noticed some shorter ladies behind me were dying for more so I moved back and let them get a better view for 'anotherloverholenyohead' and the rest of the show including the Elton encore. I was even closer to him for the aftershow when about 15 people circled and danced around him for the jam session from about 2 feet away. Strange, I had no desire to touch, pat, brush or shake his hand again. Later, when I came back from the washroom Prince was standing in the doorway to the music room.I simply stopped right behind him and waited. You just don't want to mess with his groove as he bops his head up and down looking back and admiring his band.

It's quite an amazing thing that he creates an atmosphere so dark, cool and intimate for the aftershow that you don't want to spoil the vibe in any way. I'd taken some pictures during the concert and earlier at dinner, but didn't feel right about snapping right in front of him or behind him at the doorway.The feeling is something very personal you cherish, appreciate and find a hard time accurately describing to someone else. And oooohh yeah, that smell ----indescribable. Thanks again Prince. It's hard to belive it's been 25 years of concerts. I always thank my big sister for buying the 45 of "I Wanna Be Your Lover" in 1979 and playing it constantly. I could help but love that sound!!

Dearlybeloved - I went to sleep and woke up on the same day (Sunday) and I almost thought it had been a dream thats why I let my boyfriend have the first word to see if he would mention it and he did.

CarrieLee - I told an aunt of mine who use to be a big Prince fan about this experience and she also thought it was wrong that he spoke to me about God instead of thanking me for supporting him. I have gone to see him 4 times in Vegas and have spent a lot of money on driving there, hotels and of course the tickets. So she also thought he should have asked if I enjoyed the show and that he should have thanked me for the support. But it didn't happen that way but am still grateful for the opportunity to meet him.

Insatiable930 - So you were there the same weekend I was there. That was very nice of you to let those people move in front of you to get a better view. I didn't do that there was one lady wanting to take my boyfriends place at the 2/10 main show and she kept bugging him until I told her I want him here and he is not moving, she finally gave up and left. But I am sorry I stood in line and inside the club for a long time to get that spot, we were not giving up our spots for no one. And I am selfish when it comes to Prince I want to see him, touch him be as close to him as possible, thats why the aftershow thing didn't quite work for me, too dark, I want to see the sexy man Oh and that indescribable smell, someone must ask him what it is.

that's too funny....you must be a hot chick and he was going to mack on you some, but then your boyfriend had to show up. Poor Prince...well you can't blame a brother for trying.
