Good Advice for Flying to Vegas...

In case you weren't aware, Southwest Airlines has the BEST policies regarding cancelling and changing flights. If you were to buy a ticket, even a "cheap" or discounted one and then have to cancel, the money stays in your account for up to a year. Not only that, there are NO penalties of fees. Now don't be confused on this. If you have to change a flight at the last minute, the fare may be higher if it's less than a two-week advance purchase. But still, this beats the $#!+ out of any other airline's cancellation policies..

Still, I strongly suggest that anyone planning a trip to Vegas, or anywhere for that matter, consider using SW airlines. Sure there are a few drawbacks like open seating and no real meal, but who cares. If you're looking for inexpensive travel with little risk, give them a try. Also, start an online account with them as this makes it much easier to manage those funds and may be the only way to take advantage of this great service. You can also get very cheap fares, some times at the last minute...

Main thing is that if a show gets cancelled, you won't be out the money for airfare. Last November, I bought two tix (for me and my wife) on SW in HOPES that there would be a show. I figured, hey, if there isn't a show, I know I'll be flying somewhere within the next year. BTW, there was a show and we had a great time...

Think about. I hope this helps...

Peace, and keep it on the 1,

I agree with you about SW Airlines. When I was checking the prices for airfare and hotel packages, SW had the most reasonable prices. I plan to try to attend in February, and I will proably book with SW.
