Sat. 11/18 Vegas show Prince took the stage about Midnight on Sat. 11/18 after the screens showed his induction in to the Brit. HOF. Very nice piece. He opened (of course) with 3121 and lead into Get on the BOat, Lolita and also played Black Sweat (very strange live). He peppered the show with his "top 20's" like Purple Rain, Lets Go Crazy and If I Was Your Girlfiend. ALso played fan-fav;s like Adore, Forever in My Life, Anotherlover..., Shhhh, and others that I am blanking out on after 2 days with a total of 5 hours sleep between them.
I know everyone will want to know the garb.....started with nice Blue suit (Rave blue) and then changed into a beautiful white suit for the end of the show. My only disappointment was that he started his "Thank you good night" routine 65 mins into the show. He proceeded to then play one song, leave the stage, return for a song, leave again. Only 3-5 mins between these encores, but the folks coming to see Prince for the first time in the crowd were disgruntled about this, and admittedly so was I as a LONG time fan. He also played less music for the "general public" and more for the true fans last night. I heard several curious first timers complaining about no Rasp.Beret,Take Me W/U, I would die 4u, etc. Overall good show. I made a long trip from Syracuse NY for this, and I am glad I did not pay the upcharge for the VIP section. THere is plenty of room to stand all around the VIP section for no upcharge if you like. You are able to enter and exit the club as many times as you like with your ticket stub. If you want an up front seat, you need to do the GA admission anyway. Hope this fills in those of you who, like me, wake up the day after a show and can't wait to read a review! On to catch an East Coast plane.

I wonder what time the show ended, especially if you said he started saying goodnight 65 minutes into the show, just wondering. This question is for anyone who attended on 11/19 -- did anyone get their pictures taken while waiting on line before the show? Also I heard Prince came out and met fans waiting on line, that was a very nice thing for him to do. [Edited 11/19/06 11:52am]

Did you get to sit down without paying for a table? I need to sit down and I've already spent an enormous amount of money just with hotel and airfare and tickets to other events.

After no sleep, I did forget to include that the show ended just before 2 am, so there was almost 2 hours of music-but with a lot of encores..

No, we did not sit without paying. The only place that I saw to sit with a GA ticket is on the floor. You are able to go into the casino and re-enter with your ticket however. We did that several times before the show started.

Does anyone know if the exact setlist for Sat's show has been posted anywhere? I'm gonna write a little report on the show for my livejournal, and can't remember all the songs and the order. Thanks!

I attended the Friday and Saturday night performances and while I enjoyed both shows, in my opinion the Saturday night performance was better. He played about 80% of the same songs both nights just in a different sequence but the energy was so much better Saturday night….Some random observations
Friday night show started approximately 12:15 PM and lasted 2 hours; Chris Rock, Tavis Smiley, Dr Cornel West and Katt Williams were in the house. Prince ventured into the audience looking for a woman to dance with and later pulled a woman from the crowd to dance for him/with for almost two songs. Highlights; a cool and sexy version of Joy in Repetition, playful version of Kiss..”You don’t have to watch Desperate Housewives to have an attitude” and a rest in peace shout out for the late Gerald Levert. A “Stereotypical Vegas moment” occurred during the second half of the Friday night show, during Pink cashmere a very intoxicated woman kept shouting Little Red Corvette ….I F**kin’ want to hear Little Red Corvette. She then tried to lead a chant for Little Red Corvette, but the surrounding people politely ignored her drunken rant. Saturday nights show started at approximately 12:10 PM and lasted 2 hours, I arrived at 12:05 and was able to pickup my tickets in and make it to the dance floor in less then 3 minutes. Highlight; was a version of Anotherloverholeinyourhead with a very aggressive tempo, a playful version of Cream, “you know I wrote this song while looking in the mirror” and a dimly lit club with Prince on the piano singing Forever in My Life, Everyday People, and Adore. If you have bad feet, ankles knees etc you should pay the premium for the VIP package, because of the standing for over two hours I didn’t enjoy the ambiance the club and DJ Rashida on the one’s and two’s before and after the concert. Nice stuff. Hoodie 3121 sweaters, various tshirts, incense, DVDs (previously sold in the club) earrings, memo pads, 3121 cd, etc. That's all I remember for now.
