Oh come on now. If your a giver great! If your a reciever then at least one can say "thanks". If you pay membership and seats and hotel or whatever and are satified with what you get great! If you pay and are satisfied with that treatmeant than ?? If you recieve $$ as he does than Great!! But there is a time for everything. And it is about time we get acknowlendged as true fans. It has been over 20 years and we are still here. We never asked for much. You all say let the soundchecks go let the membership go. 1/3 of you dont even know the money from this membership goes only to the band. Lets look out for them also. As 1/3 of you dont even know what a Sand dollar is and if you do know what it is dont even know what is in it. Without the NPG membership NPG wont exist!!!

rebecca2....take this in the best possible way and I apologize in advance for the sarcasm....but just like your first post, I don't really understand what in Jehovah's name you are trying to say. I mean I get the gist of it, but your writing is so full of incomplete sentences, grammar and spelling mistakes, not to mention the flow of random thoughts. I feel like I'm reading Dr. Suess without the rhyming.

Also, what's with the random fractions? "1/3 of you dont know this, 1/3 of you dont know that..." What about the other 1/3? They are merely left to attempt to decipher your "feel sorry for me because Prince called me a liar" dribble.

Again, I apologize, but I can't take anymore whining about the soundchecks, what the fams deserve, etc. Don't you realize that we get to sit in on soundchecks? We are merely feet away from Prince. He speaks to us. What more do you want? Nowhere does it say that as members we get to shoot hoops with Prince or maybe be a band member for a day.

I've talked to fans of many other artists who would kill for the privileges we get as NPGMC members. What did you do two years ago when there was no club and you had to get your seats by standing in line or redialing the Ticketmaster number for hours? Will someone please tell me that they are thankful? PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!

I know the symbolisime(?) it holds both romantically and religiously. But to thimk that the NPGMC fee goes to the band and that if the club is cancelled the band will end is just crazy talk. I don't know what your problem is but you got a chance to talk with the man about what happened and you refused. Don't hand me the crap about worrying about others, you just where scared when confronted with the opportunity. He owes us what he has given us for the last 20 so years nothing more nothing less!

It's not selling yourself short, it's being realistic. I don't expect this man to even acknowledge my existance and I have been there from the start. He has given me music like no other artist has. He has poured his heart into it and you and others like you think you made him what he is. No!!!! His talent made him what he is. Yes we bought his music and merchandise but that is our choice not something he begged for. If you compare giving a rose to him to your situation than your are truelly a sad peice of work. He acepted the gift and probablly just couldn't beleive anyone would wait that long to show their love for his work. Heck, maybe he was saying he didn't beleive you looked old enough to have even been into his music that long. REBECCA2...You know what? You are right. I have seen the light. I think STARFISHNCOFFEE agrees with me now too. We are very jealous individuals. We also have many gifts to bestow upon Prince the next time we go to a soundcheck. I plan on giving him a 40 pound bag of cat litter and a one pound can of fruit cocktail since he mentioned that he liked it in The Ballad of Dorothy Parker. I'm giving him the cat litter because I've had it for 12 years and it's been my lifelong goal to meet him and present it to him.

STARFISHNCOFFEE and I have also decided that you are right about us selling ourselves short. We don't think we get enough for our membership either. The cd's, soundchecks, conversations and front row seats just aren't cutting it anymore. For our $100 membership we've decided that we want the following. So Prince, if you're listening, here's our list:

STARFISHNCOFFEE/SYMBOLBOY'S NPGMC WISH LIST

1. One of us wants to massage his left butt cheek. I'm not saying which of us.

2. I want to shine his shoes and moonwrap. I also want to wear Larry Graham's big white hat while shining those items.

3. STARFISHNCOFFEE wants to inspect his hair for lice and belly button for lint.

4. Since Candy is now in the mix, I want her to perform naked. It's only fair and I don't want to sell myself short.

5. We can't decide who gets to wipe Prince's butt, but it's definitely on our list.

6. Don't forget our gifts: cat litter & fruit cocktail from SYMBOLBOY and some Bounce dryer sheets and box of Cheez-its from STARFISHNCOFFEE.

7. We would also like an album a day for the next 100 days. We also want to be in the studio when he records each of them.
