Libertarianism in One Easy Lesson

I'm posting this because someone sent it to me and I found it quite amusing.

This is not intended either to endorse or denigrate a particularized party or the other, but rather to present an opinion objectivistically for all to decide upon in each their own individualized thinking processes.

You can tell libertarianism is a perversiojn just by the word. "Liberty" doesn't go with anything ending with "arian" -- if you love freedom, why end the name of your ideology with syllables associated with Hitler?

Go ask America's indigenous people about this freedom from oppression. The "founding fathers" wanted the right to live life in their own religious state, sounds very intolerant if anything.

Trips me out how conseravtives look to the past for "the good ol' days" when it was all very nasty and uncivilised. Bad as things are today they're always getting better at least...

Congratulations to you on holding the popular view of the Libertarian party which happens to be a false one.

Right wingers lately have grown government faster than any of the far left since FDR and his Raw Deal programs. Remember FDR...the guy who started the national debt and who's programs didn't end the depression, but make it worse. It was WWII that pulled our nation from that hole. Why would anyone who honestly wants smaller, less intrusive government support a party (or branch of it) with such a bloated spending and governmental expansion record as the republicans? A Libertarian knows that a republican is just a democrat with a phoney name.

True anarchy does not allow for ownership of private property. Libertarians are all about private property and personal control of it.
