Kanye West bullied at SNL backstage for wearing Trump hat

Kanye West — Wearing MAGA Hat — Booed After Delivering Pro-Trump Rant At Saturday Night Live Premiere

Kanye in 2020! (Well, maybe 2024.)

Rapper Kanye West ruffled feathers on Saturday when he delivered a pro-President Trump rant in front of a hyper-liberal crowd at the "Saturday Night Live" premiere. After the show was over, West donned a "Make America Great Again" hat and went on a tear.

"After the finale, where he sang Ghost Town from Ye with 070 Shake, Kid Cudi, and Ty Dolla $ign, Kanye made a speech, which was met with boos," The Daily Mail reported.

In a softly spoken sermon delivered above slowly-played chords, West spoke about his approval of Donald Trump, running in 2020 and how things can progress in America.

"So many times I talk to a white person about this and [they] say, 'How could you like Trump? He's racist,'" he said.

"Well, if I was concerned about racism I would've moved out of America a long time ago."

The New York Post reported more.

"I wanna cry right now, black man in America, supposed to keep what you’re feeling inside right now," he sang as he paced the stage.

He continued: "The blacks want always Democrats you know it’s like the plan they did, to take the fathers out the home and put them on welfare. Does anybody know about that? That’s a Democratic plan."

Then he turned to his support of Trump.

"There’s so many times I talk to like a white person about this and they say, 'How could you like Trump? He’s racist.' Well, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago."

A smattering of applause was quickly drowned out by boos in the audience.

Watching his "act " last night all I could think of was Prince shaking his head and wondering where the music's gone. I've seen way more talent in Elementary School events here, kids that can actually play instruments and sing on key with a cohesive story line.

If he wants to stump for Trump, don't drag "Art" into it. disbelief

another example of a hateful and intolerant left... sad but sadder still it is so prevalent that we should not be surprised... of course many on the left will defend it...

Egomaniac narcissists could also be identified as the same person posting with multiple IDs on one thread in order to shove their views down our throats.

I'm American, but when you say "arsed", i assume you mean bothered. Yes? If so, i completely agree. I was thinking of something meaningful to say about KY's fuckery, but decided that that foolio isn't worth the time.

When i hear KY talk, i usually think of someone(KY) who is a DSM-5 case(no disrespect intended to anyone(except KY) who deals with mental health issues), and who is off their meds. Cray cray... nuts

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

.

I completely agree that there is too much hate and intolerance by the left and right and that it has been raised to new levels in Trump's USA.

.

However, exactly what you arguing? Mr West said "There’s so many times I talk to like a white person about this and they say, 'How could you like Trump? He’s racist.' Well, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago." This was what was booed. The title is not correct - the article did not say West was bullied for wearing a hat, it says his rant got almost no applause and was booed instead.

.

And why would you not boo him? Rather than defend Trump by claiming he is not racist (which would be a bald-faced lie) or make a stand against racism (as he has done before he sided with Trump), he said that he is not concerned about racism. Naturally any right thinking person (or left thinking!) would be appalled by this sell out of people for politics and his need to promote controversy to promote his image and new album.

He's been hospitalized a couple of times after going off the rails. By todays standards, sounds like perfect presidential material. He's also got a pornstar wife just like 45!
