Trump banned from UK city

I think I'm a little in love with Magid Magid, a Somalian refugee and Green party candidate who became Mayor of Sheffield (a working class northern city in the UK). Today he banned Donald Trump from visiting Sheffield, whilst also declaring July 13th (when Trump is visiting) 'Mexico Solidarity Day'. I love it when young blood rises to the top in politics with fresh appeal and an unashamed want for change.

Tweet: "I Magid Magid, Lord Mayor & first citizen of this city hereby declare that not only is Donald J Trump a WASTEMAN, but he is also henceforth banned from the great city of Sheffield!"

I liked the sombrero. lol

The 20-foot "angry baby" Trump blimp has been cleared to fly over London during the visit, too - which should be amusing. razz

On a serious note, I think there will actually be quite a sizeable protest.

Sadly, it's a language he understands.

I think the blimp's great. Yes - I think the numbers will be huge - I'd go down myself if I wasn't working. It will send a strong message to our own government too about 'our special friend'.

It's just reassuring to know that people are acknowledging what an absolute monster this maniac is and pointing it out to the rest of the world.

True. Although at this stage, it probably doesn't need pointing out. If anyone thinks Trump is a good President or indeed, a good man, then they're too far gone.

Meanwhile, at his latest Nazi rally he had this to say:

“I have broken more Elton John records, he seems to have a lot of records. And I, by the way, I don’t have a musical instrument. I don’t have a guitar or an organ. No organ. Elton has an organ. And lots of other people helping. No we’ve broken a lot of records. We’ve broken virtually every record. Because you know, look I only need this space. They need much more room. For basketball, for hockey and all of the sports, they need a lot of room. We don’t need it. We have people in that space. So we break all of these records. Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.”

Seriously, what an absolute fucking insane asshole.

Exactly. Trump is only coming here to meet the Queen. Something that has been on his bucket list for some time. There is nothing in it for the UK at all so he can fuck his orange arse right back home. Every protest is a good one as far as I can tell. We will not accept a racist wannabe dictator here, especially to fufil his own fantasies.

My only wish is that everyone in this meeting had worn a sombrero. No, I think we'd have supported anyone who did this. Sadly British politics is too white and stuffy to have thought of it in the first place.

Is the middle aged white man in question Willie Nelson?

If so, the correct answer would be:

He thinks that's the biggest insult to a US President??? I can think of about 50 worse insults just off the top of my head that fit Trump perfectly. In fact, they also fit Nigel Farage too.

The fact that trump is president of America is the biggest, joke, insult and embarrassment to this country. He lives to insult many so it’s only fair he gets what he always dishes out to others. That bloated float as the whining crybaby trump, is a perfect depiction of him. He’s insecure and weak, whining on Twitter all day. Now he gets to see a version of what many around the world thinks of him. LMAO at the float.

Thanks Poppy. The Queen has had to meet & greet many unsavoury characters during her reign, and I'd love to know her private thoughts about this visit. The British press doesn't have much time for Trump so it'll be interesting to see what stories they run with too.

I wish she would refuse to meet him - but perhaps she can't. neutral

Yes, and "banned" by somebody with no power to ban him anyway.
