CNN says it was removed and that he had a clot removed and that the 2 were connected. S

(CNN)Sen. John McCain, 80, has been diagnosed with a primary glioblastoma, a type of brain tumor, Mayo Clinic doctors directly involved in the senator's care told CNN exclusively. The doctors spoke directly to CNN Chief Medical Correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta

He was not acting right recently and they attributed it to staying up late watching baseball. We need him for TrumpCare. This guy is a war hero.

Family, doctors considering further treatment including chemotherapy and radiation

http://www.cbc.ca/news/wo...-1.4213444

U.S. Senator John McCain has been diagnosed with a brain tumor after doctors removed a blood clot above his left eye last week, his office said in a statement Wednesday.

The 80-year-old Republican has glioblastoma, an aggressive cancer, according to doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. The Arizona senator and his family are reviewing further treatment, including a combination of chemotherapy and radiation.

This makes me sad. I liked him even if on some things I disagreed with him, he was alright.

I know, it gets tiring when everyone keeps calling Obama and Clinton war heros. Oh wait, NO ONE EVER DOES.

And when he was a POW, he could've been released early because of who his father was. He refused to leave until all of his men left first.

They did serve in the military.

A commander-in-chief is the person or body that exercises supreme operational command and control of a nation's military forces or significant elements of those forces. In the latter case, the force element is those forces within a particular region, or associated by function. As a practical term, it refers to military competencies that reside in a nation-state's executive leadership—either a head of state, a head of government, a minister of defence, a national cabinet, or some other collegial body. Often, a given country's commander-in-chief (if held by an official) need not be or have been a commissioned officer or even a veteran. This follows the principle of civilian control of the military.

I have always liked John McCain's realness...He's in my Prayers....I'm curious to see if his Medical Team is going to consult Jimmy Carter's Medical team...Jimmy's Team cured his brain cancer within 6-months...

I find it odd that no one is suggesting it or talking about it...

In what alternate universe did Obama serve in the military? Clinton maybe by a technicality but he never actually served. He dodged the draft the same way Bush and Cheney did.

Not every single human being deserves to be treated as one, some or many i would say, deserve no mercy. I'm not talkin about McCain especifically, i'm just saying in general.

Oh come on he has a bigger history beyond what happened in Vietnam, 45 years ago, he wasn't the only "hero" and most people couldn't name off Vietnam war heroes on one hand if THAT was his biggest contribution. That just got him in the door of politics and gets him a pass when he says stupid stuff as politicians tend to do.
