I could be posting here with the humility of the Dalai Lama and you still wouldn't want to hear it because you are emotionally wedded to your biases. I have shared numerous facts with you about Ukraine for example that clearly show that you were deceived about that. Russia was not the villain. If Russia was the villain then a million Ukranians would not have abandoned their homes to seek refuge there in 2014.

Like I said, there are many more examples I could share. You guys have been deceived. Point blank. You should be angry at the establishment for stringing you along with bullshit. Don't get angry at some anonymous orger who is pointing out the facts.

You only have one post. You just can't see that.

I never said dick to you about Ukraine either. Just another pawn in the hater thread.

After I had corrected the false claim of a certain orger about "Russia annexing Ukraine" you interjected to say that facts didn't matter to me. That was clearly a reference to the Ukrainian dispute.

You just admitted that comment was indeed a reference to the Ukrainian dispute. "Petty" or not, that's what you were referring to. Glad I could refresh your memory. wink

A New Report Raises Big Questions About Last Year’s DNC Hack
Former NSA experts say it wasn’t a hack at all, but a leak—an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s system.

https://www.thenation.com...-dnc-hack/

"Hard science now demonstrates it was a leak—a download executed locally with a memory key or a similarly portable data-storage device. In short, it was an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s system."

^^^^^^

Yes, let's get back on topic. I posted a video earlier of Jimmy Dore commenting on that report in The Nation. Those former NSA and CIA guys are all technical experts and they make some pretty strong points. I notice in the DNC's response they didn't address a single one of them. Let me post the video again for those who prefer video to text.

P.S. I call you xenophobes not only because you're obsessed with my nationality but because your view of Russia is xenophobic too. Even when the lies you've been told about Russia are exposed, you still don't reconsider your view. If you want more info on how badly you've been deceived on this matter, just ask me and I'll give it to you.

What you don't seem to accept is different cultural norms. We are merely questioning your knowledge of American history and culture and society, and we come to this issue from that perspective. If this is true you need to change your posture - big time. Read all the titles of your posts, for starters. Part of your huge ass ego problem is that you think you are here to "enlighten" us. Why would I ask for more of your dreck? I get the drift and I don't want it.

Exactly. He's not American. Doesn't live here, trashes America, yet obsessively tries to dictate to Americans about their politics, government, and racial classification. Lol.

What you are doing is completely missing the point. My whole point is that a square is a square and a circle is a circle regardless of what society calls it. This point applies to ALL societies. I've explained this multiple times but it doesn't seem to be penetrating.

But as for the thread topic, what do you make of this new report in The Nation which says that there was no hack of the DNC server last year? It was more likely a leak than a hack. The points they made were pretty darn good. Did you read the article or watch the video?

We're not "missing your point". We get it, Wile E. You consider race simply as a biological equation (though you never answered my question as to what percentage of African ancestry does a "Black" person have to be to be "truly" Black in your eyes.) The rest of us see race as a social construct, more than a just numbers on a DNA report. We are just speaking a different language, and coming to this issue from a totally different perspective.

As to the topic on hand, carry on guvnor ....

The idea that race is a "social construct" is an insult to common sense. Nigerians are not the same as Norwegians. The skin is darker and the features are different. Black hair and white hair is also different. None of this is a "social construct". To pretend that race is merely a "social construct" is to retreat into a utopian la la land.

If your Biracial son needed an organ transplant and you had to describe his race in order to find a match you would quickly forget all that shit about race being a "social construct".

Just been reading more on the debunking of the Russia/DNC hacking story, as reported in The Nation. The report issued by these experts contrasts starkly with the evidence-free report issued by the intelligence agencies 6 months ago. It goes into forensic detail. Mainstream media is ignoring it, which is telling in and of itself. They are being busted and they know it. Tim Black is a little rough round the edges but he goes into the detail here. The evidence that this hack never happened is overwhelming.

Here in South Louisiana, races have been mixing for centuries, way before they became part of the US. They don't relate to Pilgrims or the Jamestown Colony (English), not their history. Creoles (European French/Spanish immigrants) can be black or white depending on the mix. There are people who identify as black with blue eyes and blond hair that could "pass" as white. When you get into the French Cajun (via Canada), American Indian and African American mixes the combinations get complicated, and beautiful.

Mitch and Mary Landrieu are siblings from a powerful political family. Their father was a long time mayor of New Orleans. Mitch is now the mayor, Mary was a US Senator. They have a known black ancestor they speak of. They look very "white" otherwise.

This is not to say there are not racial problems and tensions but people call themselves from their history and their family connections. It can be very fluid.

Your post reminded me of something I heard in a documentary about New Orleans music. A musician (it might have been one of the Neville Brothers) said that there was less racial animosity in NO compared to the rest of the South, because if you discriminated or mistreated someone because of their race, you might find out that person is actually your cousin !

So true. Musicians in Nola are the best and they mostly get along. I moved here with my partner - an (excellent) white sax player. One time we were at a gig and a brother came up to him and said - Oh, I just recognized you. Last time you were wearing that nice hat - set you apart from the rest of the cousins. We still laugh about that.

Yeah, I thought about that too. Sounds like what that republican strategist would like to see happen more than what will happen. We'll see...

-

As far as Pence. I'm sure his hands aren't clean but I doubt that there's going to be a two for one. In other words...I doubt if both will go. I think the republican party would be happy to have a real conservative like Pence take over. He'll be a Godsend to them. Besides, Paul Ryan is not ready for the office. He can't even grow a pair by standing up against Tump even at his most unpopular state.

Yeah, allegedly Felix Sater from the Trump Foundation said: “Our boy can become president of the USA and we can engineer it,” Sater wrote. “I will get all of Putins [sic] team to buy in on this, I will manage this process.”

-

“I will get Putin on this program and we will get Donald elected,” another email said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

-

One of Trump personal attorneys Michael Cohen allegedly said, “As this project is too important, I am hereby requesting your assistance,” Cohen wrote in an email to Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s press secretary. “I respectfully request someone, preferably you, contact me so that I might discuss the specifics as well as arranging meetings with the appropriate individuals. I thank you in advance for your assistance and look forward to hearing from you soon.”

-

-

They're making it all too easy for Mueller's team.... Although this was supposedly about a Trump Tower in Moscow, it still doesn't look good to have all these different interactions with Russia/Putin.
