"Right" to be forgotten?!?

Liberals just love going after freedom of speech it seems.

A new bill is aimed to secure the "right to be forgotten" would requre people to remove "innacurate, irrelevant, inadequate or excessive statements" about others.

Who would be the first to use the law to force people not to talk about them or what they've done?

Polifukingticians, that's who. Followed by celebrities of course.

I don't care if you think you're on the left or on the right, if you agree with this bill you're unAmerican!

While I can kind of understand that our climate breeds stuff like this, I could see it being used by folks like Trump to control his own narrative online or in the news.

2f jumps the shark. There is NOTHING right wing about being against this bullshit.

Go ahead, tell me why this would be a good law.

Tell me how the bill or opposition to it defines one as "left" or "right".

Maybe try to focus on the bill itself rather than the outlet that reported it.
You already challenged me on where I get my news.
I already told you I sample the left the right and the independent because I know they ALL have an agenda and NONE of them give the whole story.
You're the one with his head in an echo chamber of one-sided fake "news".

Lay your logic on us, bud, defend this bullshit...

Good point. We gotta stand up to infringements on our rights no matter who is doing it.

Democrats who were against the Patriot Act when bush started it were silent went obama extended and expanded it. Watch them lose their minds when trump eventually uses it against them. They could have stood up to obama on it, but didn't, because partisan bullshit hypocrisy.

This law is too vague. That's the problem with lawmakers. They keep making them. The Congress used to be unpaid positions back in the day.

Freedom of speech IS MY priority 2f! We have to defend it at EVERY turn.

You're too blinded by partisan bullshit that you've lost focus and only have outrage when it is trendy.

This is why you deflect rather than defend or condemn this issue.

If it's not a priority for you, skip the thread and go back to trolling.

This from the guy who brought up "priorities"!! falloff lol

Decent topic but I live in America where the UK's video nasties crap has no effect on me.

Pro-tip: If you don't have anything constructive to say on a topic, perhaps you should pick another or start your own rather than trolling and risking exposing your ignorance on the topic or trying to change the subject.
