American big-business strikes AGAIN!

A large American energy company saved alot of money by improperly disposing of their toxic coal-ash.

They not only destroyed a pristine beach, but poisoned the local population.

mad This is why I will never be a Republican...big business NEEDS regulation and control otherwise they shit all over the little guy.

I hope they get sued out of existence!

Check out the story;

razor

A familiar tail.

And yes, it is a natural role of government to regulate the negative externalities caused by private companies. However, just to say that one need not be a liberal/left-winger to beleive this. It is a farily standard belief and can certainly be compatible with a centre-right position.

"It is an established maxim and moral that he who makes an assertion without knowing whether it is true or false is guilty of falsehood, and the accidental truth of the assertion does not justify or excuse him"
