Now That Halloween is Over- so as not to offend anyone those who do celebrate- why do you? those who don't- why don't you?
If you have to do something kicking and screaming and tearing down others with your "self love" words- maybe you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

A perfect way to honour our Ancestors - to celebrate our harvests of what we have sown and celebrate the cycles of life Yeah - Samhain ( Halloween ) is one of the most sacred sabbats I'm not offended at all by your perspectives or choices _ i just do not agree is all it's interesting - celebrating a tradition and belief that the dead will come back to haunt you-yet to avoid being saught out- you yourself must dress up and decorate your house to scare them away. I would like to think that if anyone dead comes back to life it would be under the pretext of ressurection and not to scare the bajeezus out of me with rotting flesh and secret powers.... ...that's all- i wouldn't want anyone to be scared like that- i beleive that only evil forces would encourage that type of stuff- like the occult and today's commercialism has watered the tradition down and sugared it up so that people like yourself would not give it a second thought If you have to do something kicking and screaming and tearing down others with your "self love" words- maybe you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

It USED to be to scare away evil spirits, but are we really worried about that in todays times? I think anymore its just a way for people to dress up and act silly! I don't because of the satanic overtones and pagan origins- I would never allow my (future)children to either- it's not "innocent fun" to me.... and you? What is it that you imagine would happen to them if they did? when i was a kid i never connected halloween with satanism...all that mattered was my costume & CANDY....lol that's what most people say- and I thouroughly understand but if the KKK were to begin a children's day where they dressed up in white hoodies and passed out candies- the origins of it would bother me...I wouldn't run to Walgreens's and pick up costumes for my family endorsing it- my point is I don't believe in the occult- dead corpses walking the earth to scare people- just as I don't believe in hanging people from trees to scare them so its something that I personally don't endorse... and was curious to know why others did If you have to do something kicking and screaming and tearing down others with your "self love" words- maybe you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

It really bothers me when people ask such a question out of "curiosity" and then are so quick to jump up on their soapbox to preach.... Ask your question, get your answer, then say THANK YOU... “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”

You know how the Dark Lord can be if you overcook the offerings. “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”

You know how the Dark Lord can be if you overcook the offerings. Tip: Marinade with a garlic and rosemary sauce, turn oven down to 120 degress and slow roast for 3 hours. Comes out more tender that way.....so I've heard..
