And we all know damn good and well that it's about 4,000+ years too late trying to purify any specific race of people. In the 21st century, almost no one is 100% "pure".

Shame on all of the racists for not getting the memo.

They are a slow bunch, give them time. I still crack up the part about "because of the offspring they produce" Dude, the last I checked,Derek Jeter, Tiger Woods, Mariah Carey, Vin Diesel, seem to be doing ok.

Saying that you won't marry a couple of two different races because their children are going to be picked on is like me saying I'm going to go live in a cardboard box under the bridge because I'm afraid I'd stub my toe on the clutter in the floors of my house.

nod

And don't forget about Vanessa L. Williams, Halle Berry, Mel B (Scary Spice), U.S. President Barack Obama, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. From what I notice, their lives are looking pretty great.

2 men that had their lives taken away the moment they were speaking out AND rebelling against the dark side of the music industry once too often.

That's one miserable looking individual. The world has been giving him an earful, and he's being forced to accept the reality of today; that he is dead wrong in his beliefs. Must suck being him right about now.

We heard about this even in New Zealand. Whats funny is the word Tangipahoa, it actually sounds like a Maori word. In Maori it means "cry for my fathers friend". What language is that name?

This poor, OLD, miserable bastard doesn't even understand that he is a racist to the core. I always try to see through others perspective, and I can imagine that this guy is only thinking in the way he was always taught to think from the time of his childhood. I don't think he will ever be convinced that he is, and has been, wrong in his thinking. Sadly, I believe this type of racism, that is this deep-rooted, and has had this many years to ferment and fester, will only die with the individuals that harbor it. I mostly hate him, and people that think like him, but there is a very tiny portion of my heart that goes out to him. He's lost, and he didn't learn the lessons he was supposed to have picked up in this life. And it is my belief; that he'll have to come back (...yet again) and try to get it right the next time.

When the story first hit the national news, myself and a friend (that actually lives in Louisiana) decided to create a website to support interracial/multicultural families and individuals. Both she and I are in interracial marriages

Before we put the site up, we contacted the couple in the center of this, Beth and Terence McKay. Beth gave her blessing and said she would come join the site and possibly contribute when her phone stopped ringing off the hook.

MISSION STATEMENT- To facilitate the cultural recognition of interracial/multicultural families and disassociate this culture from longstanding stigma by exposing and discrediting stereotypes

I invite all of you to come visit and if you have an interracial familiy, we would love to feature you!yinyang heart
