Every year Sister Amanda and I go the corner of 6th and University in Hillcrest San Diego set up an altar, offer prayers, reread the events of the day, and silently reflect on the day, the events, the heros, and the fallen with those who gather around us.

it is necessary to help others, not only in our prayers, but in our daily lives. If we find we cannot help others, the least we can do is to desist from harming them.

I'm going to continue to actively live my life as a decent individual poised against dumb-ass power plays that harm folk no less worthy of a good life than myself.

Co-sign

and do as I do every year, take a moment to be silent and still to remember those who have lost family members and loved ones.

it;s a rainy day in nyc today. just woke up to a gray day and rain.

i am going to go down to ground zero after work. then i am going to be with an old friend whose cat has to be put down today. after 16 years and surviving cancer once, the cat had a terrible night and is in pain and ready to go.

it's going to be a very sad day.

I won't insult them with vile "we did it" conspiracy theories that are made up from whole internet cloth.
