Doesn't mean either of us is right or wrong. It means we see it differently. A comedian is there to entertain. A politician telling this at some function (or otherwise while he/she's in office) isn't representing the people as a whole, which is their job. A comedian, you know the gloves are off and you understand they could say anything. You take it with a grain of funny salt. Yes, we agree that a joke is a joke. But who tells it is the other thing. That word seems to be entrenched in the vernacular of the black comedian. Now you will think thats racist generalising, but it seems to be true in most cases. When was the last time you heard a black comedian not swear in his act, the only one I can think of is Bill Cosby.
