Taking things to the extreme...

...or, Sean Hannity/Hal Turner/Racial Hatred/Barack Obama.

Originally, I had this cued up to post on a thread about a skin-head in the U.K. that shot a Black man for wearing an Obama t-shirt.
I guess the thread got deleted for some reason but the potential for violence from racist groups exists right here in the U.S.

The following video contains sections that are NSFW due to extreme language:

The clip features neo nazi/white supremacist Hal Turner (excerpts from "About Sean Hannity and me")...

*I was quite disappointed when Sean Hannity at first tried to say he didn't know me and then went on to say that I ran some senate campaign in New Jersey. In fact, Sean Hannity does know me and we were quite friendly a number of years ago.

I can tell you from my firsthand, personal experience that Sean Hannity does, in fact, agree with many of my political and social views. . . .Suffice it to say that my recollection is that when Sean and I spoke by phone, while no one else was listening, he and I exchanged the kinds of views that most White, Irish-Catholic guys hold, but won't speak in public.

In my opinion, based on my first hand experience, I believe Sean Hannity is, in fact, a Hal Turner sort of guy. It seems to me that a big difference between Sean and me is that I am willing to say publicly what I think about savage Black criminals, diseased, uneducated illegal aliens and the grotesque cultural destruction wrought by satanic jews while Sean and many others keep quiet to protect their paychecks.

...someone Sean Hannity supposedly had a "friendly relationship" with. I wonder if he'll ever come clean about this? Doubt it.

The clip also includes a chilling proclamation from KKK Imperial Wizard Ray Larsen.

*To show my fair & balanced nature, the quotes above are taken from right-wing conservative Debbie Schlussel's website (since the original Hal Turner site is now defunct). It appears that there's a cadre of conservatives who also feel Sean Hannity is a phony.

Let's hope that if Barack Obama becomes President, neither of these crackpots are able to play out their insane fantasies.

But you can have those views . . .
But you can't act on them. That's what's illegal.
The views may be seen as immoral or unethical but holding such views is not illegal. And the Bill of Rights means nothing if it doesn't tolerate language and ideas that we find offensive.
They are all free to say and discuss their views but don't try to act on them.

Meanwhile, civic knowledge is enhanced by discussing public affairs, taking part in civic activities and reading about current events and history, the group said.

Which is why we have P & R!

this makes me sick.

freedom of speech is all well and good, but we have to remember that we all also have the freedom to speak clearly and forcefully that this kind of extremism is unacceptable and that we will not be intimidated and shouted down.
