Clearly, because this a woman we as a nation do not know much about, and she has been placed on a ticket that would give her executive power if McCain dies...including but not limited to negotiating our foreign policy with Putin, Singh, Al Sadir, Jong Il, al-Hassad, and Erdogan...there's going to be a heightened sense of interest in whether she's going to know what she's doing once she steps off of AIR FORCE ONE and touches foreign soil. While the moniker "Sarah Barracuda" sounds cute and catchy, to place her in a room with for example, Chancellor Merkel, would be nothing less than an international embarrassment and extreme laspe of judgement on the part of our nation. ![]() Why can't anyone that uses this excuse understand that there is a cabinet with many intelligent people on it that are there to offer guidance and knowledge to the president. Barry would be asking the same shit to his cabinet and last I checked he doesn't have any experience either. The Presidency is not a one person job. You Can Not Go Against Nature

[Edited 9/7/08 0:35am] Thus far she's articulated herself quiet well. Well, yeah . . .she uses a teleprompter better than McCain. I want to see her in a television interview. Something I'm guessing will not be forthcoming at all. She's already in hiding (er, spending time with her son, so it's alleged) and why can't she spend half an hour talking to the American people? Are we not worthy? Her son can eat or take a nap while she does the interview. Why not a print interview? Apparently she is not to speak without her minders. I guess we're supposed to be blown away by her looks and hang on her every non-syllable? Probably why she doesn't like gay men. They 9we) remind her she's not all that to everybody. Are you even paying attention to what you are saying? It's 8 weeks from the election but we're supposed to wait and twiddle our thumbs for 2 weeks until the Republican Vice Presidential Nominee whom for the most part WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT "is up and ready to go"? I know you do not care for Obama and that's fine, it really is but please don't be so blinded by your contempt that you completely lose all rationality. | |

Barry would be asking the same shit to his cabinet and last I checked he doesn't have any experience either. The Presidency is not a one person job. Well then by that suggestion any mayor of a small town or sophomore governor can do this president job if needed. I've heard Palin speak twice and caught snippets of speech... I've been listening to Obama speak, be interviewed and debate against other candidates. I am convinced that he has the intelligence and the character to BE president, and that if something should happen to him HIS CHOICE for a VP - Biden - can stand in and do the job. I believe either of these two candidates can intelligently choose an appropriate and qualified cabinet. McCain, by choosing Palin demonstrates the opposite. Palin, by virtue of her in-experience in several crucial areas, is NOT someone I feel confident in leading this country - and she has not at this point demonstrated to me that she has that ability either. She is not a party leader or someone who stands out in her own party as saying or doing anything exceptional. NO ON KNEW WHO THE F SHE WAS UNTIL SHE WAS CHOSEN AS McCAIN'S RUNNING MATE! When she speaks people of either party aren't saying - "Wow! She seems exceptionally intelligent and offer some interesting ideas for resolving the country's issues." So far, she's manages to be nothing but polarizing with her prior affiliations with secessionists - her extreme stance on abortion - her "bridge to nowhere" flip-flop (but projecting as if she took one stand all along) - - what's to trust here? Are you trying to issue a pass for Palin? I guess you take it on faith that McCain isn't suffering from dementia, early stages of Alzheimer's, or sheer ignorance of his selection. I''m not willing to put the country in the line of sight of a homophobic, far right, inexperienced (as I define it-not the GOP and its symnphocants), hypocritical bimbo who seems to think tits and ass win an election. She needs to weeks to come up to speed on issues and GOP positions? Showing she's a clueless, unqualified, dumbass. And from what keeps coming out about her ethics, and management style (playing the female and hating anyone who merely disagrees . . . . ) I don't want her attempting to run the country. What little of the GOP Bush didn't destroy she will. If she becomes President, women will not see that office again for decades because she will do nothing but destroy any belief that a woman can handle the job. How can you be so certain about what she does or does not know in regards to GOP postitions or foreign affairs? No one on here seemed to have a problem with Obama's obvious lack of experience when he announced his candidacy, immediately picking up the banner for Obamania, and casting him out there as some kind of savior. Who cares that he has been a U.S. Senator for just one year ? My God, have you heard him read a teleprompter? Completely blowing off and making excuses for his questionable associations and shady business dealings. I guess it is perfectly acceptable to run for President with far-left positions, but an absolute travesty to be a far-right V.P.? Face the facts. Some see liberalism as much of a dangerous cult as you see Christian conservatism. Is Palin inexperienced? Without a doubt, but you are fooling no one by trying to gloss over your candidates deficiency in that department. The difference is, it would take a death for one side's inexperience to be exposed, and the other's shows up on day one. Prince Rogers Nelson-The new voice of Christian conservatism
