All the dems in office? I guess they had their hands out to finish their education? THey didn't just get up and out and decide to put in the work for their careers. I am so sick of it! A flipping hand out? I am finishing my Master's degree, developing a business and hustling a sales job and I look for a hand out? I am SO sick of it. Just because I think the educational system is in a scary condition, that I still make 75 cents to a man's dollar, or that the AIDs situation on college campuses and among African American women is frightening I want a hand out? I have put off being a mother to pursue career ambitions so that I can afford to clothe and feed my future children and not rely on assistance and I want a hand out? The funny thing is, a lot of people that say we want a hand out didn't even finish college. Or haven't been where I have been or haven't done what I did... But want to tell me I just want a hand out. OK fine, then all Republicans or conservatives are White, wealthy, KKK assholes. They are a bunch of racist ass munches. They are hate crime - mongers, But hey, being wealthy is a great stereotype so enjoy it. Give me two years and I'll be right there with you. Fuckers you gotta dollar I could borrow??

I don't think Dems are labeled as looking for handouts. Most people, Dems or Repugs, don't NEED handouts and don't want them. I think Dem leaders oftentimes dangle out "handouts" to make people "feel" good. I'm not saying that there aren't people out there who desperately need help - those people definitely need help / governmental assistance and both Dems and Repugs know this. There is one orger who is a COMPLETE RACIST who should be banned from this board but will never be. http://uk.youtube.com/wat...jo85WhbYqM

I hear you, I'll tell you what has really grown thin to me, is this argument that the Republicans always try to use, but that nobody buys - that Democrats are the ones that want to make big business or that they are even for the rich! Balderdash! And now McCain is trying to tie Obama's name in with the good old boy network. In addition to being untrue, does he realize what an insult this statement is to Obama - he's not "Obama the Man" by any stretch of the imagination. "Worry is using your imagination for fear..." author unknown.

I like your "in the middle lane" stance. Being purple is the way to be for obvious reasons on this site anyway: For the record...financially, I can agree with the Republicans (dont tell anyone). If a Republican continues to be in office, there will be a cease of taxing dividends by 2010, but I would rather take my president the other way. There are just way too many social things that I lean over to the Blue for. "roses is red violets is long

I went to probably one of the most liberal large universities in the country.... I also live in a very liberal place. I think I may have 2 or 3 conservative friends. Don't get me wrong, I am a filthy conservative in my views, but I don't hate other people for their opinions.
