They seem to fear what is different, what they do not know. I know ppl that fear black ppl, I know ppl that fear Mexican ppl, I know ppl that fear Muslims. I guess I do not fear other ppl that are not white because I have lived around all sorts of races and nationalities. I was not raised to fear ppl that are different from me. Many ppl in certain areas were taught to fear ppl that do not look like them. People were taught to fear Muslim's after 9/11. They became the enemy. I have seen Chris Rock joke about how it took the pressure off of black ppl. Now we have someone who is mixed race and has a Muslim sounding middle name. He has come so far, why??? Because he does not let it get to him and he carries on. He keeps fighting. He talks about unity and hope. That is something we can all agree upon. America has been divided for a long time. It is time to stop fearing one another. It seems crazy that these ppl would fear Muslims but they do. Fear is a crazy thing. | |
