Give thanks to God

Simple thread: Give sincere thanks to God. This thread isn't about debating God's reality or whether you believe the Bible's teachings. Please, be respectful. If this thread makes you want to post something sarcastic or contrary, do so elsewhere.

But, if you see worth in thanking God for what you see at work in your life, please feel free to post here.

I'm thankful to God for my family, for my good health, for my home, for my job, car and for meeting my needs.
I thank God for the peace that surpasses all understanding.
I thank God for life and strength.
I thank God for the ability to forgive folks who've wronged me.
I thank God for His wisdom, godly and skillful knowledge and understanding.
I thank God for honoring His word, that it doesn't return to Him void.
I thank God for declaring me the head and not the tail, above and not beneath.
I thank God for healing my father, for bringing him back from the brink of death so miraculously that the doctors and nurses were astounded.
I thank God for saving me from a tornado whose power damaged homes and structures surrounding me but left mine practically untouched. So, I thank Him for His protection.
I thank God for forgiving my sins, for imputing unto me righteousness because I trust in the sacrificial death and miraculous resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank God for His love that originated that salvation and that fuels my day-to-day existence.
I thank God for His favor! For his declaring me His handiwork created in Christ Jesus unto a lifestyle of good works that He preordained for me!
I thank God for friends of every walk and ideology and station, for how He blesses me through our interaction and how, through them, He radiates His beauty and love.
I thank God for the bad times, for by them I learned that all things truly do work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
I thank God for being faithful unto me, when I've been anything but to Him.
I thank God for His truth, holiness and His majesty. To God be the glory!

It's always good to give thanks for one's blessings. I have many to be thankful for. He knows what I'm talking about and what I'm thankful for.

So, I'll just say, "Thank you".

oh yes... Thank you Jesus for life .. i know i may not be where i should be, but im striving to get there and i thank Him daily for my needs


I thank Jesus for Salvation
I thank Jesus for Him allowing me to know Him
I thank Jesus for being the head and not the tail ..
I thank Jesus for His protection every day... I am still here because of His Grace (he made a way of escape for me from WTC.. when that 1st plane hit, i was in the other building) .. and I still thank Him today for that..
I thank Jesus for strength
I thank Jesus for peace in the midst of the storms (cause there's no peace in the world)
I thank Jesus for my apartment, my car, food, my job, meeting my needs
I thank Jesus for a peaceful night's rest
I thank Jesus for people He puts in my path according to His Will .. to bless me, to be my friends, or for me to give unto them whatever He tells me
I will forever bless the Lord and thank Him cause Jesus is great
