School Guards Break Child's Arm And Arrest Her For Dropping Cake (Video)

http://www.infowars.net/a...07Cake.htm
http://www.myfoxla.com/my...1.1&sflg=1

School security guards in Palmdale, CA have been caught on camera assaulting a 16-year-old girl and breaking her arm after she spilled some cake during lunch and left some crumbs on the floor after cleaning it up.

The incident occurred last week at Knight High School in Palmdale and was caught on a cell phone camera by another pupil who was then also assaulted by the security guards.

Watch video of the incident here and here.

The girl, Pleajhai Mervin, told Fox News LA that she was bumped while queuing for lunch and dropped the cake. After being ordered to clean it up and then re-clean the spot three times, she attempted to leave the area out of embarrassment but was jumped on by security who forced her onto a table, breaking her wrist in the process.

Pleajhai also says that the security guard in the picture yelled "hold still nappy-head" at her, which at the time she did not know was a racist comment.

In an even more shocking development the security guards later had the mother of the girl arrested after she sought out an attorney and demanded that the guard be arrested, telling her that if she wanted the guard detained then she herself would also be charged with battery after she allegedly pushed the guard and an assistant principal of the school. She has also been suspended from her job at another school in the county.

The school expelled Pleajhai for five days before then having her arrested for battery and for littering (the dropping of the cake). Then they had the pupil who captured the video arrested along with his sister who was merely present at the scene.

A walkout is planned for this morning by some students, after which the protesters will call for the firing of the main security guard involved.

The incident serves as another unbelievable case in the wave of police brutality sweeping the country. In recent days we have covered multiple incidents of this nature and have compiled them into a page which will no doubt be added to in the months to come.

Commentators have linked the increased cases of brutality with a post 9/11 mentality in America where civil liberties have been totally diminished and the anointed "authorities" simply consider themselves above the law.

Former Reagan government official Paul Craig Roberts, for instance, has succinctly described the mentality as having turned "an epidemic of US police brutality into a pandemic".

The media reports linked above clearly sympathize with the girl and her mother but only because the girl "fully complied with the guards' orders".

What on earth have things come to when children are being physically assaulted and arrested in schools by huge fat thugs 5 times their size for "not complying with orders"?

Police and security officials are being trained that it's OK to beat, torture and taser anyone should they not answer their questions or comply with their every order.

The "security" and well being of citizens is no longer the concern of these moronic hired beefbrains who revel in their false positions of power. Ask yourself, why is the security guy pictured above wearing shades indoors? Because it is part of the gang mentality of these idiots who think its cool to put the fear of life into small kids and then break their bones if they fail to cower like mice when picked upon.

you know... I used to think cell phone cameras were really stupid. They are such terrible quality, people that want cameras should just by real ones....

But with all the things they've captured, I've definitely changed my opinion about them.

This is so appalling and hard to swallow.

And people are perplexed and confused as to why the Jena 6 is such a huge issue for many in this country. Look at this shit?! Palmdale is about 40 miles outside downtown LA but even here in California in those non-coastal areas, racism reigns supreme.

the antelope valley (palmdale & lancaster) is a lovely little conservative hotbed of racism & racial tension. disbelief they essentially treat kids in public schools there as potential criminals, security is rough and nasty. this doesn't surprise me that much. sigh

Ive been hearing alot lately about schools and schools being on 'lockdown'
and school politics that escalate into threats and such by teachers and parents.
Its wierd how this sort of thing seems to have just recently become a major issue.
Almost like its staged.

nod all the public schools. my high school there was small and private, so we didn't have security. there were race riots several times at my junior high though, which was public.

There are schools where you NEED security guards because some of the students are animals and endanger the welfare of teachers and the other students trying to get an education.

But when you hire trailer-trash to work security, it causes problems.

I was going to predict that the school's defense will be 'cell phones are not allowed at school so the video can not be used.' But then I watched the video! The kid that took the video was arrested. At least they did not delete the video.

Ya know, even if she had deliberately dropped the cake and run off...

What's the justification for such brutality?

What's wrong with detention?

I feel like such a fogey. Are these sort of incidents current reality, or is it quite exceptional to have security in high schools?

I guess the school doesn't have janitors to clean the lunch room, ya know, because kids never leave a mess in the school cafeteria, and if they do, they are expected to clean everything up instead of going to class. confused

I'm going to follow this story!

nod

The High School that my oldest daughter goes to just implemented a "closed" campus this year, actually the whole school district did (Hayward Unified School District).

The have the whole school fenced in like it is a jail and as soon as the bell rings to start school, everything is closed except one small door with security guards that kids have to go through to get into or out of the campus during school hours.

It is a shame too since I went to the very same High School way back in the day and we always had an open campus and very few problems.

Now it looks like a damn jail sad !

Rally protests security guard acts

http://www.dailynews.com/...ci_7031723

PALMDALE - Carrying signs and chanting, about 60 people protested in front of Knight High School on Friday over the arrests of three students and a parent after a scuffle with school security officers over a spilled birthday cake.

One security guard twisted the arm of 16-year-old Pleajhai Mervin behind her back and slammed her against a lunch table, fracturing her wrist, parents said.

"I want justice," said Mervin's mother, Latrisha Majors, who also was arrested. "I want justice for my daughter. I want the guards to be held accountable for their actions."

Majors and her daughter were arrested in the Sept. 18 lunchtime incident, along with Joshua Lockett, 14, who videotaped the fight, and his sister, Kenngela Lockett, 16, who also suffered a fractured wrist.

Both Mervin and Kenngela Lockett attended the protest with their arms in slings.

Joshua Lockett, who was on probation for robbery, remained in juvenile custody on suspicion of violating his probation, sheriff's deputies said.

"We come to get an education, not to be hurt by security guards," said Kenngela, who said she tried to pull guards off her brother and was hurt while being handcuffed.

One guard, whose name has not been publicly released, has been placed on leave with pay pending an investigation by the Antelope Valley Union High School District. Attempts to reach the guard were not successful.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies said the guard told them he felt threatened by Mervin.

"There was resistance by her," Sgt. Darrel Brown said. "He went to control her."

Brown was one of eight additional deputies who were at the school to monitor the protest.

Najee Ali, director of Project Islamic Hope, organized the protest and referred to the four arrested as the Palmdale Four, linking them to the so-called Jena Six beating case in Louisiana, where the arrest of six African-American students sparked a national debate about racism.

"Children are being beaten and brutalized. Black students are being victimized," Ali said.

"Today we say, `Enough is enough."'

The protesters demanded that all charges against the four be dropped, that the security guard be fired, that the U.S. Justice Department launch an inquiry, and that Majors be reinstated to her job as a special-education instructional assistant in the Palmdale School District.

After her arrest, Majors, a single mother with three children, was suspended without pay pending the outcome of her criminal case.

The incident reportedly started when Mervin was walking to a trash can to throw away the cake that a friend had brought to school to celebrate her birthday.

Someone bumped into her and the cake fell, prompting the guard to tell her to pick it up, Majors said. Eventually, the guard grabbed her by the arm and slammed her onto a table, according to a cell-phone video of the incident.

The guard also is accused of tackling Joshua Lockett to stop him from videotaping the incident, Ali said.
