exactly which of the issues addressed by the mayor are you considering to be 'unfounded'?? No more torture of human beings. No more kidnapping of people and sending them off to secret prisons in nations where they will be tortured. No more glorification of torture by the entertainment industry. No more centrally-owned, hysteria-driven, corporate news media complicit in selling the Bush administration’s lies to the American people. No more manipulation of national intelligence for political purposes. No more manipulation of our news media with false propaganda. No more silence by the American people.

site my sorces that they are unfounded lies? i will spell it out real slow and easy, just for you. the mayor listed several acts of the bush administration which merit impeachment. as i asked before, which of the mayor's accusations do you consider to be 'unfounded'? [Edited 3/5/07 16:51pm]

Maybe if you live in a hole but up here in the daylight, the world is aware of these facts. Generally speaking, you aren’t learning much when your lips are moving.

It omits all of the specific examples set out by the Mayor in his speech. So I must assume that you find all the Mayor's examples to be true and accurate. You must therefore agree on the impeachment of President Bush. Second Funkiest White Man in America

that conclusion is not a logical conclusion. You were asked what was unfounded. You listed several things, but you did not list as "unfounded" any of the specific allegations listed by the Mayor. Therefore, one can only conclude that you agree with the Mayor's citations. The Mayor specifically cited many violations of laws and treaties. If you agree with the Mayor's citations - and the violations contained therein - then you must agree that impeachment is warranted. Either that, or you did not publish an "exact" list of what you felt was unfounded. In which case, your posting was incomplete and misleading. Second Funkiest White Man in America

not at all. as Mr Spock would say... that IS illogical. Then why did you not list your disagreements with them when given the opportunity to do so? You asked, "(H)ow about no more wild unfounded accusations" and when asked to specify those accusations, you pointedly did not refute any of the specific allegations in the speech. What other conclusion can one draw than you agree with the Mayor's accusations as set out in his speech? Second Funkiest White Man in America

i choose to list the ones i listed. You asked, "(H)ow about no more wild unfounded accusations" and when asked to specify those accusations, you pointedly did not refute any of the specific allegations in the speech. i would only have to list ONE to make what i said true What other conclusion can one draw than you agree with the Mayor's accusations as set out in his speech? none. [Edited 3/6/07 11:12am] Well, I can only respond to, and draw inferences from, what you actually post. Given your responses, the only conclusion I could come to was that you agreed with the Mayor and thus agreed with impeachment. Second Funkiest White Man in America

No more centrally-owned, hysteria-driven, corporate news media complicit in selling the Bush administration’s lies to the American people. 5. No more manipulation of national intelligence for political purposes. 6. No more manipulation of our news media with false propaganda. 7. No more silence by the American people. I've numbered each point you've made. See the sources for each point below... 1. Abuse of Iraqi POWs http://www.cbsnews.com/st...4063.shtml 2. Justices Say U.S. Must Follow Geneva Conventions The impact of the case is expected to go well beyond Guantanamo as the justices ruled that the so-called war on terror must be fought under international rules. Legal experts say the ruling challenges the Bush administration’s legal defense of harsh interrogation methods, the CIA’s secret prisons and the National Security Agency’s domestic surveillance program. The court ruled that the Geneva Convention must apply to detainees captured in the war on terror. [The Los Angeles Times reported “The real blockbuster in the Hamdan decision is the court's holding that Common Article 3 of the Geneva Convention applies to the conflict with Al Qaeda — a holding that makes high-ranking Bush administration officials potentially subject to prosecution under the federal War Crimes Act.”] In Thursday’s ruling, Justice John Paul Stevens wrote “the Executive is bound to comply with the Rule of Law that prevails in this jurisdiction.” NYT: Decision "A Historic Event, a Defining Moment” The New York Times called the decision a "historic event, a defining moment in the ever-shifting balance of power." Ben Wizner of the American Civil Liberties Union hailed the Supreme Court’s ruling. Ben Wizner: "It's a very important decision today. And we have to remember what Guantanamo is. Guantanamo was an attempt on behalf of the administration to create an island outside the law; to bring these detainees to a place where no law applied to them and where the United States could do whatever it wanted to them. And what the Supreme Court said today is that even in Guantanamo Bay, U.S. law and international law apply, and if we're going to try these people for crimes, we have to try them under a legal system - not a system that we make up as we go along." http://www.democracynow.o...30/1334224 3. This one is self-explanatory. Torture is glorified in the entertainment industry. 4. Fox news is an excellent source of propoganda. http://dailygotham.com/bl...s_fox_news Bill Clinton Reams Fox News 5. Again, self-explanatory, but if you really need sources... Official's Key Report On Iraq Is Faulted http://www.washingtonpost...02387.html Inspector General: Pentagon manipulated prewar intel. http://www.cnn.com/2007/P...index.html http://abcnews.go.com/Pol...SFeeds0312 SELECT COMMITTEE ON INTELLIGENCE UNITED STATES SENATE REPORT ON THE U.S. INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY'S PREWAR INTELLIGENCE ASSESSMENTS ON IRAQ CONCLUSIONS http://www.globalsecurity...usions.htm 6. Fits in with number 5 in the sense that the faulty intel was given to the news media in an effort to manipulate that news media to garner public support of what Bush and co. were proposing. 7. Bush stated, "If you aren't with us, you're against us." "Those that don't support this war are unpatriotic." etc. and so forth, thereby painting the picture that if people spoke out against Bush and Co. they were considered to be traitors and unpatriotic in an effort to silence people. ing one day about racial prejudice, Paramahansa Yogananda said, "God is not pleased to be insulted when He wears His dark suits."

ALL WRONG!!!! next time please check your facts before you go calling someone's well reasoned, well written and accurate commentary 'unfounded accusations'. thank you. that is all
