I was thinking that too. Not to be mean, but Ratzinger is kind of old to be pope, he's already in his late 80's.  Not to sound morbid, but at that age, you gotta wonder how much longer Ratzinger has to live. When Pope John Paul II was elected Pope, he was in his late 50's, so I would hope that they would pick somebody around that age so that they would have a better chance of sticking around a little longer.Irish Diplomacy: The art of telling someone to go to hell, and having them look forward to the trip.
