This is soo hillarious...Nobody knows.....the smoke looks white....but no bells...and the regular top of the hour bells are going to ring and we still dont know... falloff

The bells were going off, but have now stopped. Now we are just waiting for the new pope to come thru the doors onto the balcony, so we can see who he is. smile

I was thinking that too. Not to be mean, but Ratzinger is kind of old to be pope, he's already in his late 80's. omg Not to sound morbid, but at that age, you gotta wonder how much longer Ratzinger has to live. When Pope John Paul II was elected Pope, he was in his late 50's, so I would hope that they would pick somebody around that age so that they would have a better chance of sticking around a little longer.
