Is John Kerry or George Bush the Antichrist? Just a thought: Some people are really freaked out about the times we live in, including me. And, many Christian believers are wondering about the end times and Antichrist. But, I want to prove to you that we really shouldn't be worried about anything except knowing Jesus better and having faith, because anyone could be Antichrist. I will give you an example. I thought that Bush could possibly be THE Antichrist. Granted, his policies and decisions do defy Christ, but, if you look at Kerry, he has all the making of being one himself:

Although there has been much effort in the past to identify "the antichrist" with an individual, such as Pompey, Nero, or Muhammad (this latter person being suggested by Pope Innocent III in 1213 C.E.), or with a specific organization, as in the Protestant view of "the antichrist" as applying to the papacy, John's inspired statements show the term to be broad in its application, embracing all those who deny that "Jesus is the Christ," and who deny that Jesus is the Son of God who came "in the flesh."-1Jo 2:22; 4:2, 3; 2Jo 7, NE, NIV; compare Joh 8:42, 48, 49; 9:22.
Every single decision we make, every breath we draw, opens some doors and closes many others. Most of them we don't notice. Some we do.

I still believe it's Bill Clinton. If Kerry gets elected everyone who is not a christian should get right with God. Kerry is going to put Clinton in the UN where he will be elected U.N. secretary-general.

The Bible explains Antichrist as a person who is endowed with all the same traits and similarities of Jesus, but will instead obtain all of his power from Satan. Here are the traits: The Antichrist will disguise himself as an "angel of light", or a lamb- in other words, kind and peaceful. (Kerry appears peaceful, but is a lifetime member of a secret society that is very strangely mystic, some say with Satanic roots, called "The Order of Skull and Bones", which propels people of wealth into power and greater wealth- George W. Bush is also a member). The Antichrist will mimic Christ. Therefore, as Jesus rode into the Holy Place on a donkey, a political leader with the symbol of a donkey would not be far fetched. The Antichrist will be of Hebrew origin. (the scripture says that the Antichrist will come from the Jewish bloodline- the "synagogue of Satan" which Jesus also says not to take literally as to judge Jewish people, but as a warning specifically about the Antichrist.) John Kerry is Jewish. (His real name would be John Kohn. Kerry's uncle and his dad changed from the original surname due to religious persecution in Austria and later converted to Roman Catholicism. But, his entire family before that all practiced Judaism) The Antichrist will worship differently than his relatives before him. (The Bible says that "He will serve a God which his fathers did not know". Roman Catholicism is very different from Judaism. Many associate the Roman Catholic church as a hybrid polytheistic religion that was created from the blend of the paganism in the Ottoman empire with the views of progressive Christianity at that time.) The Antichrist would unite the world and bring a temporary peace. (Much of what Kerry speaks of is in complete support of bringing unity to the world). The Antichrist, and the Antichrist's government and army, would be from a figurative nation called "Babylon". (The Babylon of Revelation was figurative. Babylon of Revelation will be a nation that would be the wealthiest, strongest, most independent nation on Earth in which the central finance would arise, and the world would seek to do business with). Babylon sought to conquer the world in the name of "freedom and unity" or "peace and security". (1Thessalonians 5:1-5 states: 1Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. ) But, the Antichrist ends up not meaning what he said- (at the 3.5 year mark of his time in power, he is suddenly struck with a "deadly wound" and recovers. Shortly thereafter, he turns on the people and makes them take a ration mark in their head or arm, and begins to annihilate all people who don't accept the mark, and starts persecuting true believers in God the Creator, especially Christian believers.) So, let's hope that Kerry is NOT the Antichrist, and that he actually means what he says, and the same goes with Bush. If not, we are in for some serious shiz-nit. Interesting that the title of the thread is about Bush and Kerry and most of the focus is on Kerry....

Rhon, my focus was on Kerry on this one because no one has ever said anything about this- I just assumed most everyone has heard about all the Bush-Antichrist comparisons.

But, this thread was meant to be a discussion- not that I am that worried about it. I, like you, believe that I have nothing to worry about, because I know that I am going to a better place. I just wanted the people on here to start thinking a little and to make sure that they pay attention, so the wool don't get pulled over their eyes, no matter who the candidate. I don't believe fully that either one are THE Antichrist, but both have their hidden opinions that don't square with the teachings of Jesus. Peace, JD
