PRINCE EX GIRLFRIENDS AND BAND MEMBERS

Is there any truth that Prince makes his girl friends and ex band members sign an affadavit stating that they will not reveal their relationships with Prince, because everyone sure is quiet about Prince personal life. I wanna hear his ex lovers speak.

When Vanity left Prince, she stated that Prince said to her "I bet your gonna tell everyone about us?", Vanity replied, "hey its not about that"...............so I think out of a sense of loyalty and respect they don't talk about him, atleast not all of the dirt...........

It's called being human and not broadcasting your business all over town. Frankly, it's no one's business who anyone dates - even Prince.

No one should have the right to tell someone else what they can or can not talk about when it comes to their own personal experiences....but some people are stupid enough to sign agreements like this.

Reminds me of "5 Women" where June told his business after they went out.

June brought an Easter bunny
Needless 2 say, hmph, that girl was late
Told a made-up story 2 a busy-body of our only date
What a sketch!

(Kind of off topic, but does anyone know if those are 5 actual women and if so do we know who?)

Well, that settles it then. Watch the comments from all of Prince's exes come pouring in! We know they will forsake whatever confidentiality agreements they have signed and risk being sued by Mr. LawyeredUp himself to tell all to a username on a Prince fan board with less than 10 posts after keeping silent all of these years and ignoring the upteen thousand other requests for the same info.

Hold your breath, people...they're coming! lol

You know you had that coming, right?

(Mathilda) May, the lead/alien/villain from the "Lifeforce" movie. With a name like that, she probably inspired the months motif of that song.

Nothing shocking or crazy, but we found it an interesting, easy, fun read. Dez likes to take credit for a few different things. I wonder if Prince likes this book?

The tone of your post sounds like you disagree with something? What did he take credit for? I haven't read it.

I am not saying that Dez was wrong. There probably is a lot of truth to his statements. I guess there is no way to know, but he takes credit for a lot of things Prince related. I am just curious if Prince would agree.

There are lots of things, Dez takes credit for how they dressed, he came up with using letters and numbers in place of words, he convinced Prince not to fire different people, he is the one who convinced Prince to come back and perform again after their first Rolling Stones performance, & many more.

Get real - someone would have wanted to get paid by now. Something keeps them from talking.

yes, this is a common practice for him. It's called a confidentiality agreement. Countless people have signed them.

I enjoyed the book too. It is a quick read. Don't expect a lot of detail about sessions, etc. This is about Dez and it is about Dez's journey. That said, I recommend it to fans to understand the early days.

The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

Dez is very humble in this book IMO, and he doesn't reveal anything "dirty" should there be such things to be revealed. It's a must-read if not only because it's an inner-sight of the 1st years.
