Pet Shop Boys I just bought their "Very/Further Listening 1992-1994" CD and it's some damn good stuff. I pretty much just wanted to check the "Very" album based on "I Wouldn't Normally Do This Kind of Thing" but saw this album in a used record store for a decent price. It's really good stuff if you're into them and/or dance pop. Any other fans here or recomendations? They are still a pretty big deal in Europe, aren't they? I've had "Discography" for years and it is excellent.

Oh, HELL YEAH!! I loooove the Boys! Yeah, that "Very" special edition rocks. The new greatest hits collection "PopArt" is a MUST! The two new songs--"Miracles" and "Flamboyant" are wonderful.
"Very" and "Behavior" are their best albums and their latest "Release" is great too. The song "I Get Along" is the best breakup-recovery song EVER WRITTEN!!!

PSB are just fantastic.... They are criminally underrated. Very, Nightlife, Release and Behavior are my faves, but every album they've put out is excellent - and they have perhaps more top notch b-sides than any other artist in the last 20 years.

"Hey, Headmaster" is rather good song on the CD set.

I agree they have always been very underrated. Love me some PSB, since the 80's. They rock!

All the 2 CD reissues are highly recommended. My favourite PSB album is "Behaviour" - a real dark gem and certainly their bleakest album (lyrically not musically). If you don't have it, do yourself a favour and get it. They released a 3 CD compilation last year called "Pop Art". Again highly recommended - much better than "Discography". As for them being "big" - they do ok in England (although their commercial fortunes here dipped around the late 1990s), and I'm sure some other European countries and Japan hold them dear to their hearts. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

The 2 disc remaster of "Please" and "Inretrospective" are particularly good. Well worth the money. How all remaster packages should be. .

you are so correct!!! everyone should follow the PSB pattern for reissues. They couldn't be more perfect.

I love PSB. I have "Please" on constant rotation all the time. "Actually" is a great album as well. I like their newest single "Flamboyant" and I'm contemplating purchasing "PopArt." I recommend checking out "Please" if you don't already have it -- an essential album in any PSB collection.

I would buy "PopArt" right away as well but I'm sure you and I have the same issue. That damn import price! Why don't they release it here! I might just check out those other two disc collections as well. "Very/FL" has been on constant rotation. "One and One Make Five" should have been a single! The notes for the album are also very insightful and humourous.

"Discography" is a one of the best greatest hits/best of's ever (I say and many others would agree) so to recomend "PopArt" over it is surely something. Of course it has the advantage of having songs after 1991.
