S ome folks will be glad to know that Lauryn Hill will release a new album this fall. She’s still signed to Columbia Records. Details are still being ironed out. Let’s hope it’s not another depressing album like that “MTV Unplugged No. 2.0" disc she released in 2002…Lauryn’s labelmate Maxwell is also dropping a new disc this fall. In August, he will tour Brazil, but there are no immediate plans to tour the U.S….

I'm one of the few that liked the unplugged cd from Lauryn. That's just where her head was at during that time.


I'm ready for both of these cds.

I have a feeling Lauryn's gonna have another meltdown before this gets released.

i won't hold my beath for the lauryn cd considering her main concern these days is not music. whenever she does release a new cd, i'll be ready...i loved the unplugged release!

Its like saying 2 Miles make a sequel 2 "Kind Of Blue" not that L-Boogie is like Miles but she's too an artist who believes in "development & evolving" there4 I welcome any direction she walks on becoz I know she'll put her heart on it.

Maxwell will do fine, but he'll probably release another muzak-laced album to be used primarily as background music for the soundtrack of my life.
not that I don't like muzak.....
muzak has a valuable place in my world...
