Another bad creation? Remember them?

Hey remember ABC? U know that kid rap group that came BEFORE Kris Kross!

Remember "Playground" and "Ishea" vids back in early 90's?

They were discovered i think by New edition member Michale Bivins (who also discovered Boyz to men-they actually sing additional backing vocals on some of the album)

"Cooolin' at the playground" was a dope album back in '91! i still love it now! Very agressive )as in funky) Newjack Swing that of course is not agressive lyrically!

Favs in "Playground", "Little soldiers" "Jealous girl" (a worthy remake of the very old New edition song) and my all time fav "Ishea"! Check out the gorgeous backing vocals on the bridge! Whole album was different in vibe to Kriss Kross! ABC were more NewJack then just plain rap like Kriss Kross were!

Super producer Dallis Austin was the main man responsiable 4 this album! Of course Dallis has done alot more "Bigger" artists since but the production is brill on this album! Whole album very positive too!

Anyone Remember these 5 young kids? U liked them?

"Iesha... you are the girl that I never had, and I want to get to know you better"

The KK and ABC beef was that KK was claiming to wear their clothes backwards before ABC did. The 'Totally Krossed Out' album is full of ABC disses.

Damn, it's all coming back. I'm ashamed that I actually remember that beef.

They were profiled in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about a year ago and they look a damn mess now. They're trying to get back in the game (minus G.I.-I think that was his name confuse) by handing out their CDs to people after leaving local clubs. All of the smoking and drinking has finally caught up with these guys.

DAVE, not Da. giggle Yeah, that album was lots of fun. Dallas Austin was so funky back then. He took two groups (ABC and TLC) with no singing talent at all and produced joints by them that had everybody dancing (and dressing) like idiots. woot! Ahhh, the good ol' 90's...

It's the Mizzark, chillin' in the pizzark, I gotta break cuz my mother said be home by dizzark But before I go, I'm gonna flow for U one time, see, so listen to the rhyme, gee
The East Coast Family--BoyzIIMen, ABC, BBD...now flip the track, D!
My mother is "Nana" and my brother is Red It's Mario Bros., so it's time for bed Last but not least, so I wanna say, "Peace", and we're outta here...from tha playground, ya know?
