Yeah, they were one of the bands to come out of the Georgia Alternative/New Wave scene along with R.E.M. and The B-52's. As a matter of fact, they sound almost similar to R.E.M. They had that jangly, guitar driven sound that was popular with the whole College Rock thing. But this band never really got big as their soul mates, yet they were still very good. Their first album, "Walking In The Shadow of the Big Man" is essential. But their most popular album would probably be "2X4" which spawned the minor hit "Litany (Life Goes On)". Anyone heard of them?

I saw them in a local club in '87 or '88 - I remember them having a mid-sized indie-hit, though I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. You have their sound pegged pretty well: better-than-average jangly guitar-pop.
