Tupac: Resurrection Movie

Has anyone seen it yet?

I think it was tastefull done (rightfully so considering his mother was the executive producer), but it was very stripped down and really showed some interesting clips of Pac (like when he was in prison), that video of him and Jada Pinket Smith (who I personally believe were more than just "friends") and a host of others.

Say what you will about the man, but I honestly believe he was far more ahead of his time than what the general public gives him credit for. One of the few artists out there who actually made you think about what he was saying.

Exactly. The media came up with this perception of him that he was nothing more than a thug, but there was so much more to him than just that.

i'm waitin for my copy to arrive in mail...can't wait biggrin

Tupac & Jada knew each other since they were like 14 & they were very close, i guess teenage lovers...but when they both became famous Tupac did go to her father for permission to marry her but he said No...basically because he knew Tupac needed to settle down & prove that he was ready for that kind of relationship & he knew it too, so he didn't ask her but remained good friends til he died.

Pac and Jada attended the same high school in Baltimore.
