Missing Robert Palmer.... still

Just a random post due to my melancholy mood ...but I was listening to a station on Live 365 last night before I went to bed and the last song I heard as I drifted off to sleep was RP's She Makes My Day. music This morning I woke up and began playing his albums most of the day. Through the late 80's and most of the 90's I wore out his albums, especially Heavy Nova. When he died last September I was shocked and sort of stopped spinning them but today I'm rediscovering all his great music and reminded once again what a great, great loss it was... There will never be another "new" Robert Palmer album. confused

I always thought he made an awesome cover of that track. I was like eek when I first heard it back in the '80's. worship

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Fact: Robert Palmer's heart attack was caused by cocaine. So was Joe Strummer's. I liked the former and loved the latter.
