Felix da Housecat: Devin Dazzle & The Neon Fever I had no idea who the hell this man was, but now i want to know after hearing this very fun dance-pop-funk-Princely album. After the weirdness and kinda dissapointing Basement Jaxx album, I saw this album cover that was just crazy beautiul. The album was tight. Filled with 80's synths drum beats and linn drum patterns. Ready 2 Wear uncredited samples the bridge of You Wear It Well (DeBarge). It took that song to listen 2 the rest of the album because it started off slow (that 60's pop shit was killin me especially the girls vocals). The cool thing about this album is that i didnt feel like i was being threatened by another artist and that lots of people make this stuff just like me without feeling out of place. Devin Dazzle, Nitelife Funworld, Neon Human, Romantique Nina sizzles with funk and electric flavor. Although there are couple fillers i highly recommend it because it is refreshing from the top ten bullshit.
