I can't believe Oprah asked him that embarrassing question, you know, the one about the bathroom and the cop. neutral

if she can ask Lionel Richie about Nicole Richie, and Halle Berry about Eric Benet, then you knew this was coming.

it was just a preview, then he said, "ok i'll tell you the whole truth" or something like that and they cut it off from there, so we have to watch and find out. smile

George won't tour the States. He hates touring. Shame. I've always wanted to see him live.

I'm all about George Michael! He is another rock/funk/soul brother. Has anyone heard his CD? Is it good? Would you recommend it?

I watched GM on OPRAH and I loved it. He is so damn down to earth and he seemed really shy up there on the spot. His partner was there to help him along the way and I am so happy to see that he is really and truly happy with his life and it made me go out and by PATIENCE which so far I love to death. I can't believe I waited this long to buy it. I own everthing GM and Wham has ever done.

Good interview, but I was mad that he didn't sing "Careless Whisper" lol

Still,it was nice to hear him sing "Father Figure".That's a wonderful song and he still sounds great.

You can't expect him to sing Careless Whisper, he wrote that when he was 17 and about a woman. That is the furthest thing from where he is at now. That's like Prince busting out "Sister" (okay, not the best analogy) biggrin For anyone who doesn't have "Patience" (the cd)go out and get it. You know George doesn't make bad records (with the exception of Songs From The Last Century--what was that?)...Patience just came out on the 18th here in the states, so no need to feel bad, you didn't wait that long. Overseas is another case, I've had it on Import for like 2 months...

biggrin Wham...

From where he's come from to where he's at now is an accomplishment in the music industry. Not many outgrow their teen idol days, then have their careers sidetracked with personal and professional problems, to still having an audience into their 40s. More power to him.

Can't stand Oprah.

lord knows watching that was a struggle! i love me some george michael but DAYUM!...oprah just bugs me. she is so corny and contrived and egomaniacal. when he was talking about "the scandal" i half expected her to say (in her usual monopolzing the conversation kinda way) "well, when I pleasure myself in public..."

i just hope his next interview is on ellen!

I missed the part where they talked about that, unfortunately.

I'm not what you call a "huge" fan of George, though I am a fan. But as time goes by I like him more and more. biggrin
