any (so-called)"Fusion" fans? anybody into "Fusion"(for lack of a better term...it's not just Jazz, it sure ain't "SmoothJazz" either... but combining elements of Jazz /Rock/Afro/Brazilian/World, etc.)? these are my favorites:

Come on now. Have you not seen my Avatar??? I have a bunch of the stuff you have mentioned on there. And yes....Level 42 had/has some REALLY GOOD stuff that was slept on in my opinion. In another thread on here I just mentioned a couple songs from The Pat Metheny Group's First Circle album..which happens to be my favorite group album by them. BTW....Pat's previous drummer..Paul Wertico has an album out. I will do today what you won't, so tomorrow I can do what you can't. | |

U guys should check out this newer fusion group called Niacin. It consists, of Billy Sheehan (yes the guy from Mr.Big!) on bass, this guy John Novello on keys, and Dennis Chambers on drumz. They are AWESOME! | |
