Miri Ben-Ari - Prince's next conquest?

Okay, she's talented, she's classically trained, she's hip, she's a violinist, she's getting popular by the minute and she's GORGEOUS. Currently known as the hip hop violinist, Miri Ben-Ari is blowin' UP! Prince seems to have a current interest in pretty, talented female artists (Beyonce, Alicia Keys, etc.). That interest, along with his penchant for strings would lead one to think that he'd be all over this Israeli beauty to drop some tracks on his next project. Her work spans across the billboard in terms of styles and...she's the hottest violin player to hit the mainstream since Vanessa Mae. Some know her from her appearence on the Apollo, some know her from her now legendary performance on BET's 106th and Park, some know her from work on Janet's new CD (on the song "I Want You"), on Mya's CD as well as others like Joe, Wyclef (who introduced her to the pop world as well as giving her the "hip hop violinist" moniker), Alicia Keys, Brandy, Wynton Marsalis, Santana, and the X-ecutioners and some know her from her work on Kanye West's CD - including her appearence in Kanye & Twista's new song/video "Overnight Celebrity". Anyone else wondering if this talented beauty has caught Prince's eye yet? Maybe Mani flips the channel whenever she sees the Overnight Celebrity video coming on? Anybody else foresee a possible Prince/Miri duet?

no i'd rather Claire Fischer. Miri isn't ugly and i've heard her play but i think Claire Fischer is best with Prince.

Cool....I used to play the violin briefly. I wish I had kept it up because the violin is one of my favorite instuments. Is she in the new Twista video?

I saw in the Twista video, but I had no idea she was a "real" musician. I just thought Twista was using her as a classy video ho.....my bad, and no offense to her

Isn't Prince supposed to be working with Nikka Costa? If it comes to fruition, she seems more suited to his influence than this girl. It's cool to add some strings to hip hop songs, but without singing she will be a one trick pony.

Better than me since I can't play any instruments sad sad , and spend too much time online wasting time duh bored zzz

Purple Charm - yes. that's her
Marc - this chick is a VIRTUOSO. she's no joke. Check her credits. She's worked on many different artists' work. She's not some pop chick who just happens to play. If Nikka plays violin, she assuredly can't hold a candle to Miri. I just thought that since Prince is into pretty chicks with talent, he'd have peeped her out since she's getting pop love and he seems to be craving the spotlight again. If she wasn't young and pretty, she wouldn't even be discussed.
Adorable - You know that Clare Fisher is a GUY, right? I was just thinking a duet, not someone to take over all Prince's string arrangements. He's much more noted for teaming up with young pretty women than old men; although I admit I love Clare's work on Prince's material.
