i was getting dressed today when i decided to play this hip-hop album from 1990..i think this is when rap started to have a spiritually conscious message to it.

Brand Nubian, X-Clan and PRT had their moments, but are wholy ignored like the Dead Prez, Heiroglyphics, Jurrasic 5 and Talib Kweli are today. Are we the better for it? Only time will tell.
