Cosmic Slop!

Cant stop playin that album! LOVE IT!




i always used 2 over-look this album and pass it on, but A friend of mine gave me bunches o Funkadelic istory and this is a jammin album.

March 2 The Witches castle is just... touched it's scary and sad..its classic...damn its good

Good lp. I've slept on this one myself. A very dark album.

Trash A Go Go is my favorite cut besides Cosmic Slop.

Real music with real instruments.

yes i agree with all of u. Funkadelic is so strangely slept on it is rediculous. The whole clan. An insparation 2 every type of music.

I'm in the process of collecting all the Funkadelic and Parliament albums.Recently,I got these CDs which have all been remastered...

'Chocolate City'---Parliament
'Hardcore Jollies'---Funkadelic
'Up For The Down Stroke'---Parliament
'Mothership Connection'---Parliament


Haven't got 'Cosmic Slop' yet,but it's on my list lol

DAMN!! How did you adjust to that ???!! I mean, I remember when I was 7 and saw those Funkadelic album covers on my older cousins wall, Stuff like, "America Eats Its Young"...scared the Shit out of me!!how did you cope at 5??

i come from a family of serious i mean serious Musicologists( no pun intended) and serious musicians so its in the DNA so giving me that was just another section of Homework for me, ya know?...as for coping?... it was coo' because to me it was what i was brought up on..

I remember my mom always tellin me top play "Tell Me This Is A Dream" by the Delfonics.

I dont remember what other records she used 2 give me, but i remember "Hey DJ" by Malcom McLaren, "Set It Off" by Strafe, and "When Doves Cry / 17 Days" being the start of my journey 2 Prince.org...

I also love this record.It's sad how many people don't know Funkadelic's brilliance.There music does take a few spins to really groove on it.
