JACKSON WARS! RANDY VS JERMAINE ROUND 2, FIGHT!

im sorry to bother you with yet another MJ related thread,
but hell wtf
here ya go

JACKSON WARS: Randy vs Jermaine

28/04/2004

The following incredible Fox News article exposes the power struggle for Michael Jackson:

"Jermaine Jackson must feel pretty stupid right now. For the last couple of weeks he's been in Bahrain on some kind of religious pilgrimage. In that time his younger brother Randy moved in on brother Michael, taking advantage of Jermaine's absence. Randy replaced Michael's lawyers and advisers, dismissed the Nation of Islam, and usurped Jermaine's power in the King of Pop's court.

Of course, Jermaine did the same thing back in December, when he took advantage of Dieter Wiesner's trip to Germany. That's when Jermaine brought in the Nation of Islam, tossed out Wiesner and partner Ronald Konitzer, and cut off all access to Jackson. Jermaine introduced Michael to Leonard Muhammad, the son-in-law of Louis Farrakhan, who wound up sitting at the head table at the famous "summit" meeting in late December of all Jackson advisers.

Now Muhammad has been forced out by Randy and his own counsel, Brian Oxman, a soft-spoken California lawyer who helped Randy through his own legal troubles once upon a time. Oxman knows the lay of the land between Randy and Jermaine. He was there when Jermaine conducted a hostile takeover of Randy's wife and children, humiliating the younger brother. Now Randy has gotten his revenge, so to speak. And Jermaine, who has had a rocky relationship with Michael in the past, is out.

If I were Randy Jackson, I wouldn't leave Michael's side now. As one of Michael's advisers put it yesterday: "You have to be there all the time, 24/7. I'm totally convinced that Michael has no memory of the last thing that was said to him. It's that bad."

So much for the happy family of singing, dancing boys who had all those hits in the 1970s. They are now at each other's throats most of the time, vying for access to whatever money Michael has left. The rise of Randy Jackson means yet another change in the current legal mess. Oxman's friend Thomas Mesereau replaces Mark Geragos and Benjamin Brafman as lead attorney in the case. Oxman himself has been heard telling people he's Michael Jackson's "civil attorney," although Michael has a battery of people who already claim that calling.

What happened to Muhammad and the Nation of Islam? How did Michael finally rid himself of this insidious problem? I'd like to say there was some moral outrage or big awakening on Jacko's part. But the real story is this: Michael was apparently dissatisfied with all the time Geragos was spending on the Scott Peterson case. In the time since the NOI became involved with the Jacksons, Geragos — who was afraid of them initially — had apparently become quite chummy with Leonard. Michael, I am told, had come to identify the NOI with Geragos. When it was time for him to go, Leonard went with him.

Now I am told that Muhammad is not leaving without compensation. He is headed from Chicago to Los Angeles even as I write this to try and work out some kind of arrangement whereby he can try and close some of the business deals he was developing concerning Michael. But otherwise, the NOI is gone, for now, from the world of Michael Jackson."

Interesting article - thanx. My personal thoughts on the case aside, Im glad the NOI are out on their ear - was NOT a good thing 4 Mikey 2 be associated with - particularly right now.

I think Randy and Jermaine have been at odds ever since Jermaine stoled Randy's kids mama right from under his nose and then turned around and married her.

Applying deductive logic:

Idiots will be idiots.
Randy and Jermaine are idiots.
Hence Randy and Jermaine will be idiots.

I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

I think what Mj looks like all depends on how much make-up he puts on and lighting

His makeup artists need to use more natural tones. Not this troweled-on, corpse-white pancake coating coupled with blood-red lipstick the colour of exposed tissue.

I'm pretty sure his make-up artists are aware of that- but the problem is usually that by working with a celeberity of that magnitude, you pretty much have to do what THEY want, even if what they want looks CRAZY, lol! I worked with his sister LaToya 10 years ago, and themake-up artist hired for the project was a top editorial guy from South America, totally VOGUE magazine calaber and had done the faces of every supermodel that was hot at that time; do you know that after he did her face (and BEAUTIFULLY I might add) she proceeded to reply that she looked "a little warm" and took his stuff and the lightest shades she could find and started RE-DOING her own make-up!!!??? Smacking herself in the face with lily white face powder and DRAWING IN CONTOUR on her nose and cheeks...IT WAS HORRENDOUS...but alas there's not really much you can do in a situation like that. At the end of the day you just kind of say "whatever", collect your check, and if you have any integrity try not to work with clients like that again if you feel they compromised you artistcally. Trust me, homeboy was GAGGING at the sight of what she was doing to herself, but when you're in a situation where you're working with even a "celebrity-non-grata" of that magnitude- you just kind of keep your trap shut so you don't get fired, even if you're just a freelancer working with them for a day or two...

she is like really close to him, Practically in love with the man
whenever i see them together shes always hugging him etc
I wouldn't say she's skilled with her make-up kit though
then again Evening out his facial structure is quite the task...

hmmm Karen Faye. She's been around awhile. There was a pic of her with him back when filming 'Bad' in '87. The Sun 'newspaper' here in the UK tried to make out they were romantically attached under the headline 'Jacko's Cracker'. All seems such a long time ago now. neutral

Randy actually wrote and produced a really good song on the Jacksons "Victory" album(1984)! The cut was a ballad called "One more chance" (not the MJ one) and is still an enjoyable listen! His voice is nice on this one too! The bridge or middle 8 in this song is gorgeous....

Also he sings well on the Jacksons "She" (off "2300 Jackson street" (1989))

He ruins "Hurt" (off victory) though with horrible falsetto! Shame as the track would of been quite good if he would of sang on it normally!

Still looking 4 "Randy and the gypsies" album, used to have it but can't remember it at all now!

Randy was way funny at MJ's 30 aniversary concert at Madison square garden! During the Jackson five medley, on "ABC", when the chorus is being sung, Randy shouts out to the crowd "U down with OPP?" ( U know that Naughty by nature song from the early 90's that samples "ABC") and Michaels face is priceless as he's furious with what Randy is saying! Michael even tries to stop him but Randy just pushes him away, ONSTAGE! Michael just walks back and looks at him very angrily! It's priceless! By far the best bit on the whole rather naff concert!

The jacksons should tour again, see if they get angry with each other on stage as MJ when solo can't get annoyed with anyone really! Plus if Janet could join (and even Laytoya and 3T) then that would be awsome!

By the way, why the hell wasn't Janet there 4 that aniversary concert(s)? Some sister? She could of performed with Mike on "Scream"! I ain't never seen them perform together, not even at awards shows or anything?
