To answer your question, D-12 is a rap group which Eminem is part of. He was with them before he was rich, and after becoming a solo artist, and just like other rappers such as Nelly, he decided to bring his old buddies into the spotlight. Although the 12 in the name might lead you to think there are 12 members, there are only 6 and each one has an alter ego, such as Eminem's alter ego of Slim Shady. Personally I only buy their CDs because I'm an Eminem fan, and I pretty see it as another way to get my Eminem fix in between his solo CDs. However as I just posted in another D-12 thread, their new CD has significantly less lyrical input from Eminem and more of his production of beats instead. Hope this answered your ?. | |
