Moonwalker

Does anyone love this movie! Again nostalgic 4 me as my generation grew up on this, but I love this film! Dug it out again the other day and it has to be one of the weirdest movies ever in terms of sequencing in any film ever, let alone a pop star movie which is virtually ALWAYS very straightforward to follow!:-

Check any movie that includes these elements together in 1 FILM and u bascially be lyin:-
Starts with an actual concert clip ("Man in the mirror")
then a rather cool retrospective of Jacko up till the films release
then the "Bad" video, BUT with kids
then he changes into a rabbit,
dances with one,
a very cool music video then comes from knowhere, abosultely no connection to anything in movie!
then a speilberg type movie begins,
then the whole, aboslutely stunning "smooth criminal" segment,
changes into a robot and a car
ends with a cover of "Come together"

Come on, you descibe that list to someone who has not seen this movie and see their reaction! So much, random stuff happens in this movie, 4 that reason alone this movie should go down a cult classic! Even the great Joe Pesci is in it as a very over the top bad guy in this movie, jeez what else do u want!

The scene when Mike is running away form Pesci, with all the cool "third man" style shadows, is still very great to watch genuinelyl!

Also watch the actual diologue scenes with jacko, they are very funny, particually at the end when he's with the kids, going to the concert and the blackboy replies back at jacko saying "You jumped too", damn it's hilarious!

This movie has so much in it, it's also great to watch in bits or segments as their is no flow to film at all, which is unique and I love, also it was brave to do too!

Any newer jacko fans, this is a must see and should be on DVD by now, maybe with behind the scenes stuff too, outakes would be great to see as well, particually the scenes with Pesci and Jacko! ("Captian EO" could be included as a bonus too- remember that one-from a Disneyland themepark ride!)

Michael, thanx 4 this movie! Thanx to Joe Pesci, who really makes the 'story' part worth watching! Even Sean lennon is in it 4 christ sake! Do not mistake me as a hater of this movie, I loved it as a young kid and I still do! A DVD version is a must now right!

As the movie tagline on the VHS box says "A movie like no other"- absolutely no denying that!
