PrintableI saw it too  Anxiety was right - that performance is not representative of what the album sounds like, that song is actually decent. She was just too fucking high to perform that night (did you see her eyes in the closeups?  )

She seemed high on Letterman, huh? Damn, I wish I had seen it!! Interestingly, it seems that the only drugs she takes anymore are prescribed for her...so if they're gonna put her in jail, they should jail her negligent doctor(s) as well.
Then again....see my sig. GOD that bitch can kick my ass with a simple quote!!! From reading the Blender cover story on C-Lo, I honestly don't believe that Francis is in any immediate danger...I mean, sure she's gonna have issues. Her father killed himself, and her mother is...um, someone who likes to take things to the extreme. But Francis came off as being quite intelligent and loved and loving...not to mention beautiful, judging from the pics. (But of course she's gorgeous..she looks like the spitting image of her father with a dollop of Courtney from the back cover of Live Through This.) Courtney's a brilliant woman and artist...seriously, I consider myself to be a pretty intelligent guy, but she could kick my ass on Jeopardy ANY damn day. Yea, I wasn't too into Live Through This either, though I love both "Violet" & "Doll Parts"... BUT there's a bunch of great songs on the Celebrity Skin album Nova - if you like the title track you'd probably dig much of the album (particularly "Reasons To Be Beautiful", "Dying", Use Once & Destroy", "Northern Star" & "Playing Your Song"). I still stand behind the album y'all... I picked up the album yesterday and have listened to most of it. The song she performed on Leno is so much better than that horrible live version. I'm not crazy about it just yet but I think it's gonna grow on me. I didn't think she looked high though....I think she's just out of it all the time anyway. I don't care, still love her! | |
