Toni Braxton, Anybody? I've been giving my girl a serious listen last night(esp with the masterpiece "The Heat") and her DVD "From Toni-With Love!" I seriously recommend this title 2 everybody, it includes EVERY video in her career with her commentary on each one and of course couple of interviews and other stuff through the past years.
I'm a fan all over again, I truely miss Toni's presence in the industry. If only she works with TIGHT material people this time around, that would do her justice and I'd love from her to do a jazz/gospel record. One thang I regret is neva seeing her live! Any fans of Miss Braxton?

Yep! I love her, though there aren't many songs that weren't singles that I like. But I do love everything that's been on the radio by her. I had no idea there was a DVD! I'll have to pick it up!
I love: Breathe Again 7 Whole Days How Many Ways Love Should've Brought You Home Last Night You Mean the World to Me Another Sad Love Song Let it Flow I Don't Want To I Love Me Some Him You're Makin' Me High How Could an Angel Break My Heart He Wasn't Man Enough

Toni Braxton...YES!!! Definetely. I always loved her voice, the first album, and 'The heat' is an album that seems some missed out on...she should come out with another one, although I didn't follow up with the last, but plan to check it.

I loved her first two releases. She had that unique, deep, breathy sound that really grabbed me. I did get a chance to see her live back in 1996, I believe. She shared billing with Kenny G. I know I know, but it was actually a good, adult concert. She was classy. Then she changed around 2000, and I just wasn't feelin' her as much anymore.
My fave songs: How Many Ways Why Should I Care For You Let It Flow Breathe Again I Love Me Some Him Spanish Guitar Another Sad Love Song Breathe Again Love Should've Brought You Home Unbreak My Heart Ultimate Toni Braxton is out now, with most or all of her hits. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
"It's just my imagination, once again running away with me."

Love Should've Brought You Home
Unbreak My Heart Those 2 are great cuts, as was her duet with Babyface "Give u my heart" (off "Boomerang" soundtrack), who knew how big she'd be after that single first came out (was that a big hit?) Anway those 3 were great cuts, I should look into her more, I knew some people who bought her first album when that first dropped!

I found myself wanting to hear Unbreak My Heart the other day over & over, don't know what that's about b/c it's not one my faves but I still dig her

I don't think that album was rated at all...no one bought it. I love most of Toni's songs but I would also like for her to do something new and different when it comes to uptempo songs. "Hit The Freeway" was kind of a bore. She should try some euro dance stuff like Janet. Could be very hot! She needs to take some chances.

Toni went sexy and no one noticed. Maybe it was because The Heat had about 3 good songs on it, while More Than A Woman was a total bore. Her Diane Warren fan club membership probably wasn't in line with tastes ca. 1998-2004, either. [This message was edited Sat Apr 24 19:19:46 2004 by VoicesCarry]

She and her husband/producer made helluva music! Her latest album is garbage simply becoz she was going with the motion AND its a filler so she could get out of Reid's shithole.

It messed up Janet and it will bring Toni down 2 chinatown becoz her voice is NO WAY near that mess. She just needs some MATERIAL people who could pull the chops outta her guts(George Duke, Arif Mardin and her husband all come 2 mind).

And hey, if she could come up with something valuble after this silence then way to go. I mean this could be good in alot of ways(I mean thats how I personaly look at it).
