Dannii Does Prince In Moscow

Dannii Minogue has added a cover of Prince's 'Kiss' to her live shows.

In a letter to fans she says "I recently did a gig in Moscow which was an amazing experience. I have a new track for live shows - a cover of Kiss by Prince. It's so much fun to perform and we have a really sexy dance routine to go with it. Of course I have changed some of the lyrics, I can't wait for you to hear it".

The Moscow show was Dannii's first ever visit to Russia. "I got to do some sightseeing the day after my gig" she writes. "I had never been to Moscow before so I really wanted to have a good look around while I was there. It was really freezing cold".

She has also announced her next album is underway. "I have been locked up in the recording studio" she says. "I have been recording with Korpi and Blackcell for the last couple of weeks in Sweden. I worked with them on the Neon Nights album. Recording continues for another week before heading back to London to work with some other writers and producers - but I'm keeping that info a secret at the moment."

We should see the album sometime this year if all goes to plan. "This is going to be my fifth studio album and it really is proving to be my most enjoyable. Recording looks like it will take me up until the end of May and then I will have the tuff job of choosing the best tracks for the album. At the moment I think there will be a summer single, so not that long to wait now. I'm off to do some writing in the USA for this album too - palm trees and cocktails are always good inspiration - oh yeah, and shopping too, of course".
