I am in complete shock. I'm getting ready to go see Prince tonight, and I just bought tickets for a concert I thought I'd never get to see in my life....THE PIXIES!!!

Of course, the show ain't until November, but that gives me all year to freak out about it.

Anyone else going to see 'em? I have absolutely no idea what to expect, and I'm still not 100% sure a reunion is a good idea for them, but dang...they're one of those few bands that every album they did was just brilliant. Even if they're only in it for the money, I don't really care - this is going to be an amazing experience for me.

ARRRRRGGHHH!!!! They still haven't announced a Detroit date! First Madonna disses her hometown by not scheduling a date here...and now Kim-n-Frank haven't scheduled a Detroit date!! C'mon, Pixies! The State Theater is waiting for you!!!!

I know EXACTLY how you feel. This is the show of the year for me, possibly the decade. And I haven't even seen it yet. I don't know if I'll even sleep tonight knowing tomorrow I'm gonna see them live and up close.

I'm pretty darn lucky too, cause they're coming back here in November and tix go on sale for that show this weekend.

Enjoy yourself, Anx! still waiting for L.A. shows to be announced.Although they are playing in Indio which is a three hour drive from L.A. I think in May,I just don't care for music festivals.Got squashed like a bug when I went to a Lalapalooza festival.
