UPDATE: The songs "I'm So Stupid" and "Like A Virgin" will not be performed on this tour.Instead,Maddy is making new videos for these songs,and they will be shown during the "transitional phases" of the show,when Maddy will be off-stage changing costumes.Kinda like the way "Paradise (Not For Me)" was used on the Drowned World Tour.

Not sure how reliable this info is,so take it with a grain of salt.But it's really interesting,and the setlist that follows is highly impressive.So let's hope that there is at least some truth to this story....


"My friend works with Peter Morse who is the lighting director and supposedly here is where it stands now but personally I would take this with a grain of salt.Why there are 2 interludes in a row I have no idea.I'll believe it when I see it.Supposedly the show starts off with an amazing light show,lots of fog,etc.The setting is a kind of wax museum from the future.There are mannequins on the stage,each one is Madonna at a different satge in her career and dressed in different outfits.One is wearing the kilt from the Drowned World Tour,another is wearing the dress from the "Material Girl" video,another is dressed in the bustier from the "Open Your Heart" video,another is wearing the gothic dress from the "Frozen" video,etc.There are about 15 in all.The kicker: ONE OF THESE IS THE REAL MADONNA AND WHICH ONE IT IS WILL VARY FROM VENUE TO VENUE.A dancer is walking among these and looking at each one.When he comes to the real Madonna,he reaches out to touch her face and she grabs his hand and she "comes to life" so to speak.The show then begins with this awesome setlist:

*Frozen/Bedtime Story/Skin (a few seconds of the music from "Frozen" is the intro,but "Bedtime Story" is the actual first song that Maddy sings)

Madonna is great and all, but jesus, what a trainwreck of a setlist. no flow whatsoever. that is, unless the name of the tour is appropriate and she IS "re-INVENTing" all of the songs. but somehow i don't think Take A Bow stuck between Hollywood and Nobody Knows Me is going to work. same with where Crazy For You and X-static Process are positioned.

I have been a fan of her's since I was a little girl so even P's comeback has taken a back seat to my present Madonna mania.

I am literally bouncing around my office in anticipation.

same here.I've been playing all of her albums,watching her movies ("Truth Or Dare" is incredble,isn't it??),watching her concert DVDs,and just hyping myself up for her concert.I still can't believe she's touring again.Tickets go on-sale Monday for her shows in my area,and I'm just stressing out,hoping I'll get a ticket.

***Madonna has just scheduled a fourth Boston show for Thursday July 1st.Tickets go on sale Monday April 12th.


***The San Jose show has been re-scheduled.The new date is Sunday June 6th.Most likely,there will be about two additional Bay Area shows,with June 7 and June 8 (the previously announced date) being the most likely dates.Tickets go on sale Monday April 12.

***A second New Jersey date (July 8) has just been added.Tickets go on sale on April 12.With her six sold-out New York dates,and the previous New Jersey date (July 7), that makes a total of EIGHT shows that she is playing in this area!! .I don't even think she has sold this many tickets at any point during her 80s heyday.

"Nothing Really Matters" is the most conventional song on the 'Ray Of Light' album,and compared to the other tracks,it's kinda uneventful.

Very true. I loved "Skin" but not sure if it would have flyed as single. I really disliked "Sky Fits Heaven" the first few times but then have grown to love it and it probably is one of my favorites. I think it was released as a dance club only single kind of like "Impressive Instant". Not sure though.

UPDATE: Madonna has just added a second show for Anaheim,California.The second show takes place on June 3,and tickets go on-sale on April 25.This makes a total of five shows that she is playing in the L.A. area.
