Additional comments about Tori's upcoming DVD/CD
Posted Tue, Mar 16, 2004 - 12:01pm ET | Music

Terry informed me that on March 16, 2004, www.musictap.net posted another tidbit about Tori's upcoming DVD/CD:

We mentioned earlier that Epic has a Tori Amos DVD in store for May 4. How about a little sweetener to go with that news? Ok..Epic will also release a CD album of the same title, Welcome to Sunny Florida, also on the same day. It looks like it may be an EP and might accompany the DVD as a bonus but the details are kind of sketchy at the moment.

Also, Matt Chamberlain mentions the DVD on his web site. From this we see that Loren Haynes was involved with the making of the live DVD. (Thanks Brett.)

thank you for your information or input. the dent is a reliable source of information for me too & i'm glad to see so many fans of tori amos here at prince.org today when i signed back on. that show does sound great to me. so tell me, which song by tori do you guys like or want to hear live? i love all her songs but i must admit that 'crucify' was killer on the scarlet's walk tour. i can't wait to see this one performed live again!!! if you love to hear live tori amos music, there are some very awesome mp3s on www. hereinmyhead.com which are listred under diagnosed sounds. while this certainly doesn't take the place of seeing tori in all her glory, this is about the closest thing we've got until the dvd is released. hopefully you guys & gals will find this tidbit helpful. thank you all for responding to my thread. come back to say hello anytime!! lol

Yessaid.com posted the following exciting information about Tori's upcoming DVD/CD, which is set for release on May 4, 2004! The title of the DVD is indeed Welcome To Sunny Florida. There will also be a companion CD within called Scarlet's Hidden Treasures. Yessaid.com reports that the DVD (Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, PCM Stereo) has over 2 hours of live footage, full-length interviews, photos, a tour yearbook, and lyrics for the songs on the CD. One of the songs on the CD will be promoted to radio. Click to see the track listing for both the DVD and the CD. This sounds like a really wonderful release!

no Mountain though... that's a disappointment. Why not include it on the B-sides disc?

But oh well. Minor complaint. This will be an awesome release!
